It was another full week of development on Blockify.Games and Slay to Earn, leading up to our next big release. With great progress on a number of topics, most importantly:

✅ Update of Blockify's support for mobile games

👉 Got current release of Slay to Earn to run on mobile

👉 Trying a new, viable approach to wallet integration on mobile

✅ Finishing In-game Item Shop and Token Rewards for Slay to Earn

With all of this we should be able to

✅ Release the next big update of Slay to Earn around Monday next week

More about the In-game Item Shop:

👉 Will allow to purchase items on all gear levels: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary and Divine

👉 Items will be paid with both SLAY2EARN and Bullions that drop when killing enemies in the game

On Wednesday this week, we already want to release this big update on Ethereum and Polygon testnet. Please try it out. Your feedback is very helpful to find and fix any problems before we release on mainnet.

With the In-Game Shop and the Token Rewards ready, Slay to Earn to will finally allow players to earn SLAY2EARN tokens and, together with the In-game Item Shop, kickstart the game's economy. The token you can earn will directly come from our rewards treasury. To ensure that this will not drain the treasury and also to prevent any negative impact on SLAY2EARN, there will be some guards in place:

👉 Rewards will be fairly small initially and grow with the rewards treasury when SLAY2EARN picks up volume.

👉 There will be an allocation of token rewards per day. Once gone, no new rewards will be handed out. First come, first serve.

👉 Playing on higher gear levels creates higher rewards, but also requires players to have a minimum amount of SLAY2EARN in their wallets (soft staking)

The limited daily allocation will create Happy Hours on Slay to Earn every day, with many players online in the game and our Telegram group. We want to use this chance to push marketing, through Twitter Raids, for example.

On top of that, we are also starting a campaign to get more people to check out the game and its token SLAY2EARN:

You will be able to invite new players into the game, using an invite link. And whenever a player that you invited plays Slay to Earn, you will also earn a small percentage of their rewards. As mentioned above, these rewards will be fairly small at the start and thus, this referral system would - for now - mostly encourage bigger influencers to invite people to play Slay to Earn. We expect that we will see many new players and investors.

After the release, we want to shift a part of our focus back to Blockify.Games, to push partnerships and the search for investors. Last Friday we had a very promising in-person meeting with a bigger blockchain gaming platform. They are excited about our anti-cheat approach and love Slay to Earn. So far, so good :)
