❗️Israeli Army Occupies Abandoned Gaza Homes – Then Torches Them (Haaretz)

Israeli troops have been incinerating homes in Gaza in recent weeks, following direct orders from their commanders, without the necessary legal permission to do so, according to information obtained by Haaretz.

Soldiers have destroyed several hundred buildings using this method over the past month – officers confirming to Haaretz that the practice is now “common place.”

The IDF said in response to the report that the destruction of buildings is done only with approved means, and that any action carried out in different ways will be investigated.

Throughout the Battle of Stalingrad, the Red Army annihilated about a quarter of all fascist forces on the Soviet-German front.

The total losses of the Nazis exceeded a million, including killed, wounded, captured, and missing. The strategic initiative shifted to the Soviet command, creating conditions for a general offensive by the Red Army and the mass expulsion of fascist invaders from the USSR territory.

❗️ Moody’s: Gas Price Surge Could Cost Biden Reelection

If prices push close to $4 per gallon, former President Donald Trump will win the election, according to credit rating firm Moody’s – who believe it will be a presidential rematch in November.

After surging to a record-high of more than $5 per gallon in summer 2022, average gas prices have since fallen to around $3 per gallon. 

A significant rise in mortgage rates or a significant decline in real household incomes “consistent with a meaningful recession characterized by significant layoffs and surging unemployment” could also threaten a Biden win, Moody’s found.

The fact that Biden cannot string three sentences together was not mentioned by Moody’s. 😂

⚠️ UN Warns Gaza’s Rafah Becoming ‘Pressure Cooker of Despair’

Thousands of displaced Palestinians have fled to Rafah with nowhere else to shelter after Israeli forces continue to bombard Khan Yunis and other parts of southern Gaza.

“Rafah is a pressure cooker of despair, and we fear for what comes next,” Jens Laerke, spox for the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affair said at a briefing in Geneva.

Laerke also aired concerns that Rafah may become the new focus of Israeli aggression, “It’s like every week we think, you know, it can’t get any worse. Well, go figure. It gets worse.”
