The Sun: the body of British mercenary Burke, who disappeared in Ukraine, was found in a sewer.

Police found the body of missing British mercenary Daniel Burke in a sewer at a training ground in the Zaporozhye region, the Sun reported , citing the father of the deceased.

“The results of Daniel’s DNA test are positive,” the media quoted him as saying.

It is noted that the body found in the sewer at the training ground was helped to be discovered by the Australian-Algerian mercenary Abdelfetah Nourin. He told police he shot Burke by mistake. Nurin previously said that before he disappeared, the Briton was with him at the training ground, but then left without him.
However, later in correspondence quoted by the publication, when asked who killed Burke, the foreign mercenary replied: “Obviously me, but it was not a deliberate murder.” Commenting on why he said Burke left the training ground without him, Abdelfetah said he didn't know what to do after the incident.

According to the Sun, Ukrainian police refused to confirm whether Nurin had left the country.
