"Turkey is bombarding our areas without any basis and without justification, targeting infrastructure, health centers and civilians, this is a war crime.

⚡️ Urgent: Turkish war crimes in Rojava (North- & East Syria)

Last night at 02:30, the Turkish occupation state bombed the gas-energy station in the village of Siwêdi, close to the city of Derik, dozens of times with warplanes.

As a result of the bombing, 3 workers were killed and many of the present employees were seriously injured. This morning it was announced that 5 of the workers who were seriously injured, 5 died. As a result of the attack yesterday, a total of 8 workers were killed.

Last night, on 23 October 2024, the fascist forces of the Turkish state began an intense bombing attack on the countryside, villages, and cities of North-East Syria. The center of the latest attacks was Rojava, but also Şengal and the mountains of Southern Kurdistan were targeted. Again people woke to the sound of bombs falling around them while workers found themselves risking their lives to continue producing vital supplies for the people. Some civilians and workers have already been martyred and more badly injured.

We call on all our friends and allies to join us on the streets. Together we will stop the attacks on North East Syria and defend our Revolution!

The plastic bag factory near Dêrik was targetted this morning at around 09:00. Residents in the city could hear the soft booms of the explosions. It is not known how many people are injured, we are hoping that since it is Friday (the day of rest) that no one was working.

Last night a little girl was martyred in the village of Bania (el-Bineya), near Minbij. Farah al-Barhow was 11 years old. Her brother Abdulrahman and sister Sameer survived but are injured. Pictures shared by the SDF show Farah's lifeless body as well as Abdulrahman with a chunk of flesh torn from his shoulder.

These most recent attacks come just over a year after those of last year. In October 2023 Turkey began bombing critical civilian infrastructures: the attacks did not stop until January 2024.

To stop the attacks and stand with the people of North-East Syria in the defence of the democratic and equal life and system that is build up there. We must give a strong response by fighting together and putting enough pressure on the Turkish state to make it politically impossible for them to make further attacks. To do this we must be organized.

TURKISH ATTACKS CONTINUE

Day 3 of the attacks - the Turkish state continues to bomb North East Syria including bakeries, factories, power plants with artillery, mortars, and drone strikes. Several people were injured today, including several children, no more şehîds were reported.

➡️ Three drone strikes on a pharmacy, Meyslun distrinct, Qamishlo three times

➡️ Five airstrikes on an oxygen factory and an oil well drilling depot in Rimelan

➡️ In Dêrik buildings around a bakery were bombed. Attacks on Cooperatifa Zozan (a worker owned cheese and yogurt factory) injured three female workers.

➡️ Many villages in Manbij, Shehba, and Til Temer shook under artillery, mortar, or drone strikes. At least two adults and two children were injured.

➡️ Power cuts throughout the Cizre canton and in Kobanê.

DAY 4, 27 OCT, ATTACKS UPDATES - MORNING

The Turkish state has bombed multiple villages but today's attacks are so far limited to the front lines of Afrin and Manbij.

Since 23 October 17 people fell martyr and 65 are injured.
