📢 Today's Actions, Rallies and Protest against the Turkish led attacks on Syria and Rojava:
All over Europe, activists and freedom-loving people are coming together these days to show their solidarity with the Rojava Revolution, chanting “Women, Life, Freedom, Long Live the Rojava Resistance, Long Live the Guerrilla Resistance and Long Live International Solidarity”. Their chants echoed in the streets of France, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Germany and other countries.
Youths at one of the spontaneous actions made a statement to the media: “We declare that we stand with all our comrades in North and East Syria and send our friends strength. We believe that we will succeed if we unite with our friends all over the world. Therefore, everyone should come to the fore to defend the Rojava revolution.”

In Syria, the HTS continue to advance on the city of Hama, while the SNA, which is allied with Turkey, expands its attacks on the self-administration.
During the night, the SNA tried to invade Minbic. A major attack on Minbic, which is home to a large prison with IS prisoners, is becoming increasingly likely.
Since yesterday afternoon, hundreds of thousands of people have also been fleeing from the now occupied Şehba region to the self-administration, especially to Tabqa and Raqqa. However, civilians are reportedly still stuck in the enclave. There are increasing reports of civilians being killed and taken hostage while fleeing.
The Kurdish districts of Şêxmeqsûd and Eşrefiyê in Aleppo are still being defended by the SDF. There are hundreds of thousands of Kurds in these districts, including thousands of Yezidis who already experienced genocide at the hands of IS in 2014.
The SDF also declared that they had taken over the security of seven villages east of Deir ez-Zor.

In the city of Palermo, the internationalist young men and women of Sicily condemned the attacks of the fascist Turkish state and its gangs. At the University of Palermo, a debate was held about democratic confederalism and the current situation in the Middle East and the third world war.

📑 Explainer: besieged Kurdish neighborhoods in Aleppo.
Two Kurdish neighborhoods in Aleppo, Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyeh, are currently besieged by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) after the unexpected advance of the Islamist force and the capture of Syria's second city from Bashar al-Assad's Syrian Arab Army (SAA). These neighborhoods have maintained their autonomy from both the Assad government and the Islamist opposition since the beginning of the Syrian conflict, becoming a safe haven for those fleeing violence, persecution, and violent repression elsewhere in Aleppo and Syria. In this paper, the Rojava Information Center (RIC) provides key information about the neighborhoods, their humanitarian and political significance, the violence they have endured in the past, and the grave threat to these isolated neighborhoods today.

5 years Women Defend Rojava – We will continue our struggle with even more determination
In 2018, Turkey attacked and occupied Afrîn, and in 2019, Gîre Spi and Serêkanîye. In response, the Kurdish Women’s Movement (Kongra Star) called for international support. Since then, the campaign Women Defend Rojava gathers many internationalist solidarity activities with the Women’s Revolution and the people of Rojava.
For 5 years we have been organizing in more than 36 committees around the world. We have took actions, published leaflets, books and dossiers, we have organized education, information events and delegations.
Today again, the people of Syria and the whole Middle East are under attack. At a time when the destruction by capitalist patriarchy is intensifying and war is spreading all over the world Islamist gangs, fed by the Turkish state, are terrorizing the people and continuing the policies of genocide and feminicide. This attacks are against Rojava and our hope for peace in the Middle East.

Youth after they escaped the encirclement by Turkish backed militias in the North of Aleppo: "Resistance was done and will always be done!"
After being displaced again because of Turkish backed attacks on Rojava, Youth from Afrin call on young people around the the world to join hands and Defend the Revolution in Rojava.
Since the large scale attacks on Syria and Rojava from Nov. 27th onwards around 200.000 people were trapped in an encirclement in Shahba/Tel Rifat in the North of Aleppo. Through an corridor they were able to escape to the Euphrates region. Listen to what they have to say and act.

In the midst of the the ongoing war of imperial and islamist forces against the people of the Middle East, Turkey uses the situation to carry out one of the largest attacks against Rojava and Syria since 2019. As part of Turkey's Neo-Ottoman project to become the hegemonic power in the region, the Turkish state aims to liquidate revolutionary Rojava and further destabilize Syria.
We call on all democratic, revolutionary, and solidarity forces around the world to:

Jihadists capture major city of Hama
In Syria, the major city of Hama was captured by the jihadist militias of HTS and SNA at midday. After threatening to encircle the city, the Syrian army withdrew from the city largely without a fight, according to its own statements “to protect civilians”.
Should the major city of Homs, around 40 kilometers south of Hama, also fall, the regime's territories would be divided in two.
Meanwhile, the self-administration in northern and eastern Syria stated that around 15,000 people in the Shehba region, which was occupied by the SNA at the weekend, were still being prevented from fleeing. There had also been abductions in the region. 120 vehicles with fleeing civilians had been taken to an unknown location.
Turkish, Russian and Iranian foreign ministers want to meet this week to discuss the situation. Turkey has repeatedly cited the failure of these talks as the reason for the offensive.
