People’s struggle against attacks
In Eyn Issa a demonstration took place. Youth of Til Hemise joined the call for a general mobilisation. People in Heseke the people commemorated 3 comrades from Afrin and Shehba who had been martyred in Shehba by Turkish mercenaries. In many cities people are collecting goods to support the displaced people from Shehba.
In many European countries – Belgium, France, Switzerland, Netherlands, protest have taken place in support of Rojava.

The resistance of Minbic against occupation continues!
➡️For days the Turkish-led mercenaries attack on Minbic supported by Turkish drones, but still were unable to take the city.
➡️After the fall of the Syrian regime which was announced today, another coordinated attack was launched against the entrance city. Accordingly to SDF sources, this larger attack have been repelled. Still some of the mercenaries were able to enter the city. The last hours there are heavy fights between the Minbic Military Council , part of the SDF and the SNA forces of Turkish fascism. Turkish Airstrikes continue.
➡️The city of Minbic has been liberated from the Islamic State in 2016 by united efforts of Arabic and Kurdish fighters.

Today, 8 December 2024, the Syrian regime of the Al Assad family is officially coming to an end after more than 60 years of despotic and bloody rule.
Taking advantage of this major political destabilisation, the Turkish state is stepping up its attacks on the free territories of the Autonomous Democratic Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria (DAANES).
The town of Manbij is currently the target of intensive attacks by the SNA (‘Syrian National Army’), a coalition of mercenary groups supported, trained and directed by Turkey.

For several days, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries have intensified their attacks on our regions and cities. Over the past four days, these attacks have escalated significantly, with mercenaries launching large-scale attacks using substantial numbers and advanced weaponry, including UAVs provided by the Turkish occupation state. More than ten Akinji UAVs have actively participated in these attacks, which are being led and directed by Turkish military commanders.
Four days ago, the fighters of the Manbij Military Council successfully repelled the brutal attacks of the Turkish occupation state's mercenaries, dealing strong blows to them.
In response to these large-scale attacks, our forces have transitioned to the second phase of our defense strategy against the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries. We will employ diverse tactics and methods to disorient the enemy and make him ultimately regret initiating these attacks on our territories.
We the forces of Manbij Military Council are determined to hold the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries accountable for their actions against the city of Manbij. These savage mercenaries and thieves, incapable of confronting our forces directly, resort to targeting civilians, including women and children. We will ensure that they are held accountable for their heinous crimes. We pledge to protect our beautiful city and its surrounding areas from these brutal mercenaries and the Turkish occupation.
