If the democratic solution is to stand a chance in this historic phase, we must defend the self-administration in Northeast Syria, the revolution in Rojava and stop Turkey and its mercenaries.
That is why we are calling for a central day of action in solidarity with the autonomous administration and the peoples of Syria next Saturday, December 14.

Protests in Minbic against Turkish occupation - self-administration raises flag of Syrian revolution
In the canton of Minbic, a fragile ceasefire is in place following intense fighting between SDF & the Turkish-backed SNA. In the morning, fierce fighting broke out again around the Tischrin Dam. Turkish drones are also said to have been used in the fighting. Local sources report protests against the Turkish occupation & its militias in the city.
In recent days, there have been increasing reports of executions & looting in the regions where the SNA has taken control. Fighters have also repeatedly appeared with the flag of the so-called Islamic State.
At the same time, the self-administration (DAANES) strengthened its position for negotiations & a democratization of the whole of Syria. The self-administration announced that it would hoist the new flag of the Syrian Republic above all its institutions.
Meanwhile, transitional government was formed in Damascus by HTS, which is to remain in office until March.

Civilians in Manbij report looting, theft, violence and intimidation by the SNA in the city, with DAANES employees particularly targeted. Street protests occurred in the city center against widespread theft and looting by SNA militiamen.
The DAANES announce they will also raise the Syrian independence flag in all DAANES institutions, "affirming the unity of Syria".
In Raqqa, a person opened fire on crowds celebrating the raising of the Syrian independence flag, injuring 43 people.

Every day, every hour the Turkish state is bombing Kobanê, murders civilians and destroys infrastructure. But the spirit of the people of Kobanê remains unbroken. The city that became the symbol of the defeat of ISIS will never surrender. While the Autonomous Administration is making all possible efforts to deescalate the situation and bring an end to this war, the people and self-defense forcers keep defending themselves and their land.

Young women prepare themselves to Defend Rojava!
The young women in Rojava organize and educate themselves for defending their neighborhoods, their cities, their land. They are getting ready to take their role in the revolutionary peoples war. They know well that the Turkish colonialism will only we be stopped, if the people defend themselves. Against the Turkish State and its mercenaries and their ideology of patriarchy, the slogan Jin Jiyan Azadî can only mean self-defense.

Kurdish and Arab tribal leaders at the Cizîr Canton Council of Opinion Leaders stressed that a solution could be found through internal dialogue and declared their support for the SDF and the Democratic Autonomous Administration which, they said, is “the only force that defends the region and its people”.
The General Command of the Manbij Military Council announced that the attacks of the Turkish state and SNA militias on the Tishreen Dam and Qerekozak Bridge were repelled. 210 Turkey-backed mercenaries were killed, 39 military vehicles, 6 tanks destroyed and 5 UAVs shot down in the last 3 days of the war.

Turkey rejected the ceasefire agreement between the SDF and SNA. This afternoon the YPJ General Commander Rohilat Afrin confirmed that an attack on Kobane is imminent.
"The Turkish state is sending military forces to attack Kobanê. Everyone must take action for Kobanê. Just as we defeated ISIS in Kobanê, we will also defeat Turkey!"
We are following the situation closely. We must make preparations and act to stop Turkey. With the spirit of 2014 we will defend Kobane!
