Due to the massive bombing of turkish drones, until now 203 people got injured. Ronîza Mihemed, a young student, and Bavê Teyar, a famous kurdish actor, are only two of the 22 people that until now were murdered by the turkish attacks."

The war in Syria didn’t end with Assad’s fall. Turkey continues its aggression on Northeast Syria and aims to capture Kobanê – a symbol of resistance and freedom.
For weeks, people have been defending the strategic Tishrin Dam through vigils, standing firm against Erdoğan’s militias. Yet Turkish airstrikes have already killed 19 civilians and injured over 100.
But the people refuse to back down – they are fighting for their land, their freedom, and peace. ✊
Today, we took to the streets with banners and protests to show our solidarity. We demand: Stop the attacks on Northeast Syria, stop Turkey’s war crimes! Austria must take a stand and support the democratic resistance in Syria. It’s time for democracy and peace!

On Saturday 26.01, actions against the World Economic Forum took place in Zurich against the war economy and technologies developed in Switzerland that are used in the world's wars.

After the bombings on Tishreen dam yesterday a young woman friend was injured, as well as 13 other people. Listen to her interview here
On the anniversary of the liberation of Kobanê we were here (at the Tishreen dam). When we were dancing govend we were bombed. We are still here and they continue to attack.
But still, until there is one drop of blood left in us we will take care of ourselves.
We told this also to the occupiers: Until there is a drop of blood left in us we will resist.
We are here for the water, electricity, for everything.

On January 26, 2015, the people of Kobanê liberated themselves from IS. Today, 10 years later, the revolution of North and East Syria is the symbol of freedom and hope of the 21st century.
Now, the people of Rojava are driving to the Tişrîn Dam in their thousands. There they are proving the immense determination of the revolution. With Tişrîn they are protecting Kobanê and with Kobanê they are protecting the democratic and peaceful future of all of Syria. The bombing of the peace vigil on the Tişrîn Dam is an attack on all.
Revolutionary history is being written on the Tişrin Dam at this very moment. At the same time, the Federal Republic of Germany is actively supporting terror with arms deals worth millions. It is our responsibility to take our place in the resistance of Tişrîn - organized and with the certainty: Tişrîn will not fall! Kobanê will not fall! Resistance means life!

On Sunday, 26.01, iternationalist revolutionaries marched towards the busiest street of the city of Heidelberg, Germany, with the slogan “Freiheit Für Rojava” and hung a giant banner reading “KOBANÊ, Frieden Für Die Völker Syrıens” on the historical city castle (SCHLOSSHEİDELBERG) in the city of Heidelberg, Germany. They greeted Kobanê, which has become a symbol of Freedom worldwide with international solidarity.
