We call for international actions against Turkish fascism and their supporters! In face of massive attacks it's time to act!

Since the 14th of April Turkey has once more intensified its cross-border attacks against the liberated territories of the Medya Defence Zones in Southern Kurdistan (Northern Irak), marking the start of a new offensive. On the 17 th April the Erdoğan-AKP regime announced the new offensive named “Claw Lock”. Turkish ground troops and special forces since then are again trying with all force to set foot into the regions of Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna. With massive air-support, meaning air-surveillance, bombings, fighter jets, armed drones, attack-helicopters and heavy artillery shelling the turkish troops try to fall into the region either being dropped to the ground by helicopters or trying to advance on the ground from border military stations and from the regions under control of the KDP, which is openly collaborating with the turkish invaders and occupiers. According to news from the ground and declerations made by the Peoples Defence Forces (HPG) the last days heavy clashes have taken place especially in the regions of Zap and Avaşîn and the fightings are continuing. At the same time attacks on the frontlines of Til Temir, Ayn Îsa and Zirgan in Rojava have increased, ISIS has declared a new offensive to start and the Iraqi army has attacked several YBŞ checkpoints in the region of Şengal.

To defend Şengal and the Êzidî people, to defend Rojava and the revolution, to defend the hope for a better future and to smash fascism we have to take a stand now! We call upon you to take to the streets and to confront turkish fascism, their institutions and supporters in your region. Organize your self and get creative in showing your solidarity with the anti-fascist resistance in Kurdistan!

RiseUp4Rojava campaign's education initiative kicks off in Vienna
In first event of the #RiseUp4Rojava campaign's education initiative aiming to bring groups from different environments to dialogue and learn about local struggles.
The Vienna-based group of the #RiseUp4Rojava campaign invited the representatives of various local organizations and alliances to a panel to discuss questions of social organization together with the Academy of Democratic Modernity (ADM).

🎥ITALY: Actions in Solidarity with Kurdistan
Yesterday the Kurdish Youth, Internationalists from the Communist Party of Italy and the Kurdish committee occupied RAI TV in Milano, where they convinced the responsibles to report on the current situation. ☑️
A second occupation was held at the building of the European Parliamentary Union where the Kurdish Youth and internationalist Friends presented a file on the military operation in Shengal and demanded the European Union to exert pressure on the Turkish State. ☑️
At the ending rally at Piazza Fontana young people from Kurdistan and their friends also drew attention to the guerrilla resistance in the Free Mountains of Kurdistan ✊

Şengal: Agreement reached?
A commander of the YBŞ claims that an agreement between the local self-administration of Şengal has been reached and that all families who have left the region because of ongoing battles should return to their villages.

!This hasn't been confirmed yet and there are no official statements regarding this neither by Şengal's self-administration nor Iraqi officials!

❕March of dignity - against occupation and treason ❕
Today in Qamişlo, #Rojava thousands are marching in protest again Turkish attacks.
A wide array of organizations joined the march: From the peoples councils of the autonomous self-administration, over Kurdish, Arabic and Assyrian political parties, to organizations of the youth, the civil society, the Womens movement and artists. The protesters condemned the Turkish attacks in the mountains and KDP treason against the Kurdish people. Participants came from allover the Qamişlo and Heseke region to show their solidarity with the resistance of the Gerîla in the so called Medya Defense Areas, and especially in Zap and Avaşîn.

Toulouse: Kurdish Youth occupies airport in act of civil obedience

In the statement they read during the action the activists stated:
❕"The operation to annihilate the PKK, which has been carried out since April 17 on the basis of cooperation between the AKP-MHP regime and the KDP in southern Kurdistan, is being nullified by guerrilla resistance.
The use of chemicals is actually the result of defeat. The fascist TR (Turkish Republic) uses chemical weapons committing a war crime in the operation. Therefore, we must take to the streets against this war crime and inform the public." ❕
