We do not want to create new borders. Borders are not very important to us. We try to create creative humans and a creative people. That is our contribution and a step forward for scientific socialism.
Democratic Confederalism offers a way to organize these societies, respecting their characteristics and multiculturalism. It is increasingly clear that Rêber Apo’s ideas, although developed from Kurdish society, can be applied to other societies because of their universalism, their recognition of the existence of differences in society, the importance of women’s liberation, the negation of dogmatic ideas and the creation of a revolutionary personality focused on its morals and ethics"

Vienna|Protest action at the headquarters of the OSCE
We protest against the use of chemical weapons by Turkey: The OSCE is silent about the war of its member state Turkey in Kurdistan and Syria, so today we are visiting the OSCE headquarters in Vienna. We want the organization to break its silence! OSCE supposedly stands up for security. We ask: Whose security? OSCE member Turkey is cooperating with jihadist groups in the war against Rojava/Northeast Syria. What does this have to do with security? Turkey is using the OSCE as a stage to coordinate its repression of opposition members & war against the Kurdish freedom movement with other states. We want the OSCE to take a stand against war and repression! Doctors and experts have confirmed that Turkey is using poison gas against the freedom fighters of the Kurdistan Workers' Party. Why is the OSCE silent on Turkey's use of chemical weapons?

Nationwide blockades by climate activists against the attacks on Kurdistan - STATMENT!
“Turkish airstrikes on areas in north-eastern Syria are hitting civilian infrastructure: schools, hospitals, community centers, power supplies and grain elevators. The scientific service of the Bundestag classifies the attacks as contrary to international law. The airstrikes were preceded by an attack that killed six people in Istanbul on November 13, for which there was no constitutional investigation by Turkey. However, less than 24 hours after the attack, the Turkish government claimed that the YPG (Kurdish forces) were responsible. The Department of Defense announced "retaliation" without any hard evidence. According to a supreme commander of the SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces), the assassin's family connections point to the Islamist milieu. Kurdish organizations publicly distanced themselves from the attack."
The background to the current attacks is Erdoğan's publicly announced plan to militarily "cleanse" a 30km wide strip of Syrian territory on the Syrian-Turkish border of the predominantly Kurdish population in order to settle Syrian refugees there. Numerous airstrikes on the civilian population served this purpose, intensified this year since April 17, up to and including serious war crimes through the use of poison gas, as Kurdish reports show. In order to carry out the current airstrikes, the consent of the USA and Russia, which control the airspace, is actually required.

As part of the #DefendKurdistan Days of Action from Nov. 30-Dec. 3, a wave of solidarity & action swept across the world.
From temporary occupations of party offices, direct actions at Turkish Airlines counters in airports & demonstrations to flash mobs, banner drops & street art, we saw creative & emphatic protest by thousands.
The pressure built up led to media coverage of Turkish attacks in Rojava & chemical warfare in South Kurdistan, forcing political parties & governments to take a stand, meaning Turkey is finally facing opposition to its invasion plans in Rojava.
Now we need to maintain the level of actions, target war profiteers and supporters like Turkish airlines and Riseup4Rojava together!

The campaign «Gas masks for the guerrilla» has already been able to deliver over 700 gas masks and countless filters to the mountains. But many more are still
needed. That’s why we’re taking another run at it to collect as much money as we can!
Because the victory of the guerrilla means the downfall of Turkish fascism !
The Guerilla is calling for immediate support. In order to be able to continue to bring gas masks to the mountains, we call for donations. The money will be used to organize filters and gas masks.
Defending the revolutionary perspective in Kurdistan also means strengthening the revolutionary forces here. And in reverse: In order to strengthen our fight, we have to defend the revolution in Kurdistan!

Gunman murdered 3 people & injured several others in the Kurdish "Ahmed Kaya" Culture Centre in Paris today.
According to eyewitnesses, an armed assailant opened fire on the Kurdish Cultural Center before shooting at a restaurant and a hairdresser’s salon owned by the Kurds on the same street. While the attack has resulted in deaths and injuries, the assailant, reportedly 69 years old, has been arrested by the police.
Kurdish Organizations call for urgent protest to condemn these brutal attacks on the Kurdish community in Europe.
This attack occurred a few days before the 10th anniversary of the massacre of the three Kurdish activists. Activists who were murdered in Paris on January 9, 2013. At the time of the attack, the preparatory committee for the memorial demonstration had just gathered at the association.
Look out for announcements by Kurdish civil society organizations & join the protests. Let's make one thing crystal clear: The Kurdish people are not alone!

Paris | 24.12.: United in Grief & Anger!Thousands came to Paris yesterday to commemorate the victims of the attack the day before & to demand a full investigation by French authorities: Great are the concerns that after 2013 again no clarification could take place.
After provocations by Turkish fascists & attacks by #Paris police, anger over the murders and the cover-up of the 2013 murders was unleashed: the following protests continued until the evening.
Next to the central demonstration in Paris, Solidarity with Kurdish people & the freedom movement was shown on the streets of Germany, Switzerland, Austria, UK, Lebanon, Greece, Sweden & more.
There will also be further actions all over Europe in the coming days. For the time being, however, the main protests will take place in France and Paris, in order to prevent the French state from dragging out the case.
