LOL i absolutely forgot about this 😅.
But hey the code isn't entirely useless , Manual mode doesn't do a DHCP for the IP you give it , it just assumes you have it configured on the other end as well , which I cant do in my case ( no access to router ).
So basically i got the two halves , one that gets an IP from the server ( The dora noscript ), and one that tries to use it from the client side ( manual config mode ). just gotta make them talk well to each other.

Robi makes stuff
Tauri x Svelte hello world app. Check Tauri out ( it might be the next electron )
Remember this ? I kinda gave up on it after trying to build an exe file and it taking a solid HOUR with no output but 100% CPU usage on just one core. Then today i was cleaning my disk of stale timeshifts and big files when i noticed that it apparently left a 4.6 GIGABYTE folder on my drive that it was using for building ...... idk whats wrong with that but i'm gonna put tauri on bench until it sorts its stuff out.
This one is real fun
So basically , if you remove the h from the /watch?v= part of a youtube video it takes you to a pretty cursed video.
Here is why it works ( from a YT comment )
Explanation of how this works: It's making use of 2 channels, 1 with a username of 666 and another with a username of watc. When you remove h from the url, it can't parse the query string (the part after the ?) anymore, as it's a query string for the watch url. So instead, it tries to open the profile with the name watc. YouTube channel settings allows you to set a redirect URL for a specific channel, so what this user has done is have the channel of watc redirect to the video uploaded by user 666. That's it really.
EDIT: it works when you remove the c as well because the channel wath is set up the exact same way
so im using it to make my parents and relatives stop watching youtube
