Dabbling with Scapy and packet crafting.
I wonder if i can make a custom noscript that uses the Preferred IP ( Requested IP address ) DHCP option 50, To basically assign my PC a somewhat permanent IP on DHCP enabled networks.

It may be 3AM but hey , i finally got a successful DORA process that gives me the IP address i want ( if it hasn't been taken that is ).
Even though the DHCP server has leased me the IP , i still have to make the DHCP client ( my PC ) start using it. But i think it is enough coding for the day. 🥱 💤

LOL i absolutely forgot about this 😅.
But hey the code isn't entirely useless , Manual mode doesn't do a DHCP for the IP you give it , it just assumes you have it configured on the other end as well , which I cant do in my case ( no access to router ).
So basically i got the two halves , one that gets an IP from the server ( The dora noscript ), and one that tries to use it from the client side ( manual config mode ). just gotta make them talk well to each other.
