On June 2, a secret meeting was held in the Kafar Takharim region of Idlib, with two senior officials from the Turkish intelligence MIT and a delegation from the HTS, which included Abu Mihemmed El Colani's assistant Abu El Xêr.
The following decisions were taken at the meeting:
HTS mercenary groups will be located in the center and countryside of Afrin.
MIT will meet with other mercenary groups, especially the Jabha al-Shamiya group, and persuade them to act jointly with HTS.
But MIT's plan A failed and plan B was put into action: Using Force!
