Footage of Turkish military vehicle destroyed by guerrillas

Gerîla TV published footage of a Turkish military vehicle destroyed by guerrillas in the Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq) where the Turkish army has been conducting an invasion operation since April 17.

The HPG Press Centre statement detailing the action said the following:

“At 19:00 on August 9, a panzer-type armored vehicle moving from Kunişka to Çemço Resistance Area was targeted by our forces with heavy weapons. The effective strikes by our forces left the armored vehicle destroyed, 7 invaders dead and 1 other wounded. Following the action, the invaders were able to retrieve the casualties from the scene by Sikorsky helicopters.”

The Israeli army is targeting Syria's Tartus, Masyaf, Wadi Al-Ayoun, Al-Buhuth and Al-Tala'a regions with missiles. The Syrian regime army air defense system has been activated against Israeli missiles.
