Joint Military Maneuvers By The SDF And International Coalition In Derik

SDF: As part of our joint mission and efforts to defeat ISIS and ensure security and stability in NE Syria and in order to enhance the joint combat capacity, our SDF forces along with the International Coalition against ISIS have conducted military maneuvers in the border village of Taqil Baqil in Derik district near the tri-border between Syria, Iraq, and Turkey.

The maneuvers used the live ammunition of heavy and medium weapons and training on reconnaissance and tracking down the sleeper cells preventing them from threatening the residents.
It is worth mentioning that It is the first military maneuvers conducted maneuvers in the mentioned areas, but they are the third ones in NE Syria this year, where the last maneuvers took place in the Deir Ezzor area.

Internal Security Forces: "an ISIS cell member today during the search operation in Al-Hol camp, who was disguised in a women's dress, and an AK-47 weapon was also seized near the place where the terrorist was arrested."

Internal Security Forces seized a large number of light and medium weapons and ammunition belonging to ISIS in Al Hol Camp.

​​​​​​​ISIS mercenary cells attack the forces participating in "Humanity and Security" campaign

Internal Security Forces reported that they were attacked by ISIS mercenary cells, while the SDF and YPJ conducted a special operation in the fifth sector of Al-Hol camp as part of the second phase of "Humanity and Security" campaign.

Today (September 8), the Media Center of the Internal Security Forces - North and East Syria issued a written statement to public opinion, in which it also revealed the outcome of the 14th day of the second phase of the "Humanity and Security" campaign.

The statement reads:

"During the special operation, our forces were attacked by members of the cells, where the attack was responded to, which resulted in the killing of an ISIS cell member dressed as a woman, and trying to escape outside the camp, and 6 ISIS cell members were arrested, including 2 women, and our forces seized 2 weapons of type AK-47 and an explosive belt."

#Update:

The #SDF released a statement saying that 2 of their fighters were killed in a clash within al-#Hol camp.

The 2 fighters were injured last night while stopping 7 #ISIS members from escaping the camp. Today they died as a result of their injuries.

The SDF General Command And The U.S Central Command Review Operation Humanity & Security In The Al-Hol Camp

A joint delegation of the SDF General Command headed by General Mazlum Abdi and the U.S. Central Command headed by General Michael “Erik” Kurilla conducted yesterday a visitation to the al-Hol camp to review the situation of the camp and the ongoing Operation Humanity & Security launched by the Internal Security Forces to track down the ISIS cells inside the camp.
