SDF General Command: Protecting our people and our areas in the north and eastern Syria from Turkish aggression is our forces’ top priority at present. Despite this, our forces are struggling to prevent the increasing threat of ISIS, whether by conducting organized pre-emptive strikes to prevent ISIS from taking advantage of the conditions created by Turkish aggression or by preventing ISIS mercenaries from attacking the prisons and the camps that house ISIS families.
Here, we declare that we never participated in the operation of the killing of the new leader of ISIS (Abu al-Hasan al-Qurashi) and had nothing to do with that operation, whether directly or indirectly.
