SDF: With the participation of the Internal Security Forces and the International Coalition against ISIS, our forces launch Operation al-Jazeera Thunderbolt to eliminate ISIS terrorist hotbeds in areas of al-Hol and Tal Hamis.

52 #ISIS Terrorists Arrested On The Second Day Of Operation Al-Jazeera Thunderbolt

#SDF: For the second day in a row, our forces, with the participation of the Internal Security Forces and the International Coalition forces, continue Operation Al-Jazeere Thunderbolt to hunt ISIS terrorist cells in the areas of the al-Hol and Tal Hamis. The joint forces arrested 52 terrorists and facilitators who were sheltering in residential areas and farms.
The joint forces expanded the area of sweep and raid operations that started from nine axes after some terrorists tried to pressure the local populace to secure them a way to escape, but the pre-emptive and surprise raids thwarted all the hiding attempts of the terrorist elements, forcing them to surrender.
According to the initial investigations, the terrorist confessed to their involvement in many terrorist acts and in providing materials, resources, and weapons to the ISIS terrorist cells that one of them was about to carry out terrorist acts during the New Year’s holiday.
Due to the heavily populated area where ISIS cells exploit humanitarian conditions, our forces took time to capture them. Our forces will continue the operations to dry up terrorist hotbeds in the area, destroy their hideouts, and ensure security in suspected areas.

Al Jazeera Thunderbolt Continues Eradicating The Terrorist Hideouts In Tal Brak

SDF Media Center: Today during the early morning hours of the fourth day in Tal Brak, the forces managed to spot the movements of a terrorist cell trying to flee from the areas of operations and rehide in remote areas. However, the joint forces raided their hideout, immobilized them, and arrested six wanted terrorists involved in terrorist acts in the al-Hasaka area.

In the eastern neighborhoods, a terrorist cell tossed a sound grenade at the forces as they approached their hideout. The forces raided the place, forced surrender on the terrorist cell, and arrested three terrorists. No injuries were caused during the raid operation.

SDF: Our Forces Conduct Three Anti-ISIS Operations In Deir Ezzor

SDF: With the participation of the international coalition forces, our SDF Counter-terrorism Units (YAT) spotted an ISIS cell that was about to carry out terrorist acts in Deir Ezzor aiming at destabilizing the region’s safety and security and distracting the ongoing Operation al-Jazeera Thunderbolt.
Therefore, our forces conducted three security operations, arresting three terrorists and confiscating the following:
1 – Kalashnikov rifles /2/
2- Mauser rifle /2/
3 – Grenades /3/
4 – IED /1/.
5- Machine gun /1/
6- Pistols /2/
7 – Quivers /3/.

🚨 General Council of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods warns: If siege continues, deaths to increase

The administrator in the General Council of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods, Marei al-Shibli, warned of the increase in deaths as a result of the loss of heating materials due to the siege imposed by the Damascus government, and stressed the need to lift the siege.

As a result of the suffocating siege imposed by the Fourth Division of the Damascus government, which prevents the entry of heating materials and medicines into the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods, two deaths were recorded for two children, one of whom was 4 years old and the second 17 days old.

Rehan Loqo condemns target mother of five children by Turkish occupation

Member of the Kongra Star, Rehan Loqo, decried the Turkish attack that caused death of a mother, and stressed that this crimes will not discourage women's movements from continuing their struggle.

On December 24, 2022, a Turkish occupation drone targeted a poultry farm on the road to the village of Mazkaft in the eastern countryside of Tirbe Spi district of Qamishlo canton. As a result, a girl and 3 female poultry workers, who are from two families working on the farm were wounded.
