In addition to his intelligence and other fine qualities, I definitely want my Senate colleagues and the American people to know that @RobertFKennedyJr is a very good person with tremendous courage.

Spending is out of control:
FY2019 = $4.4T
FY2024 = $6.9T, up 56% since 2019.

My chart here shows a baseline based on population + inflation.

Using that control, FY2024 spending would have been $5.6T vs. the actual $6.9T, and the deficit would have been $500B vs. the actual $1.8T.

Had we used that simple control, total debt would be $8.8T less today.

@RonJohnson
The uniparty has deviously converted discretionary into mandatory spending – enabling them to spend a lot more.

My chart shows Other Mandatory Spending (OMS) has increased $681B since FY2019 – almost as much as Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid combined.

DOGE should seriously look at the $1.3T in OSM for signification savings.

I understand why President Trump wants a fighter like Matt Gaetz cleaning up the DOJ.

After they undermined and sabotaged his first administration, he wants strong advocates to ensure he can govern effectively.

The President deserves to put people he trusts in these positions.

Bill Clinton once claimed, “The era of big government is over.”

For that to be true, President Trump is going to need warriors to fight the deep state.

Republican Senators respect President Trump’s solid election victory. He earned the right to staff his administration with the people he knows will fight to implement his agenda.

He will focus on the working men and women who built this country, will repair the damage done by Biden/Harris, and Make America Great Again.

As FBI Director, Kash Patel will focus on protecting Americans by decentralizing and moving agents outside of Washington to fight crime.

He has committed to transparency so that Congress can perform our constitutional oversight.

I look forward to working with him in the new administration.

@TulsiGabbard will fully utilize her intelligence and experience as our next Director of National Intelligence.

She understands the threats we face and the need to supply unbiased and unvarnished information to decision makers.

I have complete confidence in her and look forward to voting for her confirmation.

@RobertFKennedyJr will do an excellent job of advocating for the American people instead of big business and big government.

He will restore integrity to scientific research and government agencies.

I look forward to working with him to end corporate capture of federal agencies and Make America Healthy Again.

Massive deficit spending devalued the U.S. dollar:

- a 1998 dollar is worth $0.51 today
- a 2014 dollar is worth $0.74 today
- a 2019 dollar is worth $0.80 today

Inflation is the stealth tax on every American. The solution is to reduce spending.

Republican leaders repeatedly say, "We don't have a revenue problem, we have a spending problem."

Right now, it doesn't appear that they are willing to fix it.

I am going to insist that we do.

Happy to provide funding to complete the wall. However, the current budget request doesn't add up.

With our national debt exceeding $36 trillion and projected deficits averaging $2.2 trillion over the next 10 years, I'm asking the Administration to sharpen its pencil on their budget request.

I support POTUS and the OBBB, as far as it goes.

But Democrats left us enormous messes that need to be cleaned up, and we can’t accomplish everything in a “one and done” bill.

A commitment and mechanism to force a second, must-pass reconciliation bill and a process that can return us to reasonable pre-pandemic spending and deficit levels will be required for my yes vote.

It’s easy to be a Democrat — spend other people’s money and mortgage our children’s future knowing you’ll never be held accountable by the liberal media.

It’s hard work cleaning up all the enormous messes that Biden and his irresponsible Democrats in Congress left us.

We are all committed to helping the President and America succeed.

My higher loyalty is to my children and grandchildren. We are immorally mortgaging their future.

It's time to take a businesslike approach and work seriously to reduce spending and deficits.

We won’t be able to defend America if we keep bankrupting it.

I’ve been working cooperatively with the White House to define and design a strategy to fix the enormous fiscal mess that Biden and the Democrats left us.

We don't have a revenue problem. We have a spending problem.

Massive deficits cause inflation, crowd out business lending, and limit economic growth.

It's WAY past time for us to end our spending addiction.

Senator Ron Johnson issues a direct challenge to the establishment narrative.

His message is simple: stop accusing those with different viewpoints of "ignoring science." Demand the data.

At a recent hearing, he stated: "Every time you've cited something, we will ask you to cite the study... Back it up."

This isn't a debate. It's a request for intellectual honesty.

The public record remains open for 15 days. The Senator is encouraging citizens to submit the actual science—not mathematical models or opinion—for scrutiny.

His goal? Throw it all in the hopper. Let the public decide.

The truth needs no protection. It withstands all scrutiny.

Senator Ron Johnson convened a powerful hearing to confront a crisis of credibility in science, asking a pivotal question: How much of our public health policy is built on unreliable or manipulated data?

He opened with a stunning quote from Dr. Marcia Angell, former Editor-in-Chief of the New England Journal of Medicine: “It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published.”

The evidence presented was alarming:

- A Nature survey showing 70% of researchers have failed to reproduce another scientist's experiments.

- The closure of 19 Wiley journals due to an avalanche of fraudulent "paper mill" studies, with over 11,300 papers retracted.

Senator Johnson then introduced witnesses set to unveil suppressed truths:
- Attorney Aaron Siri discussed a concealed 2020 study allegedly showing vaccinated children suffer 2.5x the rate of chronic illness.

- Dr. Toby Rogers, PhD detailed the profound flaws and historical obfuscation in autism research.

- Minority witness Dr. Jake Scott argued for the public to trust existing vaccine safety studies.

Johnson connected this to previous hearings where federal agencies were shown to have hidden myocarditis safety signals linked to mRNA vaccines.

He argued that the "vaccine injured" have been systematically ignored by a media eager to report on disease outbreaks but reluctant to cover what they dismiss as "rare and mild" adverse events.

The core accusation? That powerful, multi-billion dollar interests actively work to prevent the discovery of root causes for chronic illness. As an expert testified: “They do not want root causes to be discovered.”

This hearing wasn't about easy answers, but about forcing a long-overdue acknowledgment of reality. The goal: to restore integrity to science and public faith in the institutions meant to protect our health.

The truth may be inconvenient, but it deserves our attention.
