At this point, with the border out of control and the system overwhelmed, a negotiated piece of legislation won't work.

We need a President who actually wants to seal the border, announces that to the world, and then takes unprecedented action to do so.

The mainstream media and their Democrat allies can’t hide the border crisis when schoolchildren are being displaced by migrants in NYC.

They really don’t want a secure border, they want political cover now that the crisis is a threat to their re-election.

On this MLK Day and every day, I sincerely hope everyone will resist the division, judge others based on the content of their character, and do everything they can to unify and heal America.

POTUS’s open border is a clear and present danger to America. He and his Democrat allies are the root cause.

It is his open border policy that is facilitating the multibillion dollar business model of the most evil people on the planet.

The American people need to open their eyes to that reality.

The bill co-authored by Senator Mary Felzkowski and Representative Amanda Nedweski, while different from the referendum I suggested, fully aligns with the primary goal of allowing “we the people” to decide: “at what point does society have the responsibility to protect the life of an unborn child?”

This bill is based on a number of surveys, polls, and laws existing in other states and countries which indicate that a consensus is forming around protecting life after 14 weeks. The fact that 86% of abortions performed in Wisconsin occur before weeks 13-15 of gestation is further evidence of this growing consensus.

If signed into law, the bill would only take effect if it also receives a majority of votes in a statewide, binding referendum. In other words, the voters of Wisconsin will decide. The bill acknowledges that a mother can decide to end her pregnancy up to a certain point, but after 14 weeks, the rights of an unborn child take precedence unless the life of the mother is at risk.

The extreme position on abortion is backed by Democrats who have supported measures that allow abortion up to the moment of birth. What the bill is proposing will allow the voters of Wisconsin to decide what a reasonable solution is to this profound moral issue.

White House border czar Kamala Harris is in Wisconsin today.

If she really wanted to help Wisconsinites, she would be at the southern border doing her job.

How can we trust an administration who caused this crisis to honor their end of the deal?

The border must be secured, this is out of control.

Democrats want an open border and are negotiating for political cover.

Republicans must insist that anything we support will actually secure the border and effectively force Biden and the Democrats to honor the agreement and enforce the law.

There are too many unanswered questions surrounding this border deal.

The American public wants to secure the border, so why negotiate in private?

Time to trust the public and show them how this bill will actually work.

This sobering letter from former FBI, Homeland Security, and other law enforcement officials describes the chilling reality of why POTUS’s open border is a clear and present danger to America.

@RonJohnson
Senator Rick Scott is correct, the American public wants a secure border.

Unfortunately, Leader McConnell doesn't trust the public, and once again relied on secret negotiations on a bill that does not appear to secure the border.

Now he wants to blame someone else for his failed negotiating strategy.

Still haven't seen one word of text. Just being told this border deal is the greatest thing since sliced bread. If it's so great, why not show it to the public?

Why in the world would the thresholds for shutting down the border be set at 4-5,000 migrants a day?

Barbara Loe Fisher and Del Bigtree are national treasures.

Del’s interview with Barbara covers the untold history of the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act. It is eye-opening and well worth watching the entire 2 hours and 18 minutes.

People like Tedros, Fauci, Biden, Trudeau, and Gates sabotaged early treatment and lied that the COVID vaccines were safe and effective. They pushed misinformation and are the last people we would want in charge of our public health.

We must stop adoption of the amendments to the WHO treaty.

POTUS and Dems do not want to secure the border. They caused this crisis, and that fact has been an insurmountable problem in negotiations.

And now that the text of the bill has been released, it appears even worse than we feared.

The real tragedy of this process is that what the American people want – a secure border – they’re not going to get.

Hiding negotiations from the American public produced a bill that codifies thousands of illegal migrants a day entering this country and hamstrings a future Republican president who actually wants to secure the border.

@RonJohnson
The American people want and expect a secure border.

The Republican position has been that securing America's border is the top priority and must be accomplished before we provide funding to secure Ukraine's.

Unfortunately, the Senate's secret negotiations resulted in a bill that does not secure the border and does more harm than good. As a result,
Republican leadership recommended against voting for cloture on the very bill they negotiated. Now, Schumer is asking for cloture on a bill that does nothing to secure America's border, is not offset and paid for—thereby further mortgaging our children's future.

I will vote no on the motion to proceed to that bill.

It’s galling to listen to POTUS and Dems lie through their teeth and try to mislead the American public about the border crisis they caused.

Biden could end the border crisis TODAY. It could’ve been done three years ago, but they want an open border. They caused this.
