🎥 On December 11, Sathyam Cinema hosted the opening ceremony of the 23rd Chennai International Film Festival, which saw the participation of Valerii Khodzhaev, Consul General of Russia, and Aleksander Dodonov, Director of the Russian House.

👥 Among the Guests of Honor at the event were M.P. Saminathan, Minister of Information and Publicity, Government of Tamil Nadu, and the renowned Indian actress Simran.

🇷🇺 Russia was declared the "focus country" of the festival, which was opened with a screening of the new Russian film "North Pole" (director Aleksander Kott).

👉 The 23rd Chennai International Film Festival will last till December 18.

🇷🇺🇮🇳 On December 14, representatives of the Consulate General of Russia in Chennai took part in the "Victory Marathon", organized by the local military-patriotic organization "Colours of Glory."

🏃‍♀️ The races were held in the Besant Nagar district of Chennai for all age groups, with distances including 1.5, 3.5, 7, and 10 km.

🥇 The organizers noted the achievements of each marathon runner by presenting exclusive commemorative awards.
