🎗 On May 6, the Embassy of Russia in Pakistan hosted a reception celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

🇷🇺🇵🇰 The event was held at the highest level, with President Asif Ali Zardari as the Chief Guest. He was joined by Chairman of the Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani, Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Armed Forces of Pakistan, as well as Ambassadors of friendly countries accredited in Islamabad.

❗ Addressing the guests, Ambassador Albert P. Khorev emphasized the timeless nature of Victory, recalled that the peoples of the Soviet Union made a decisive contribution to its achievement, and stressed the inadmissibility of efforts by a number of Western countries to distort the historical truth.

🤝 President Zardari congratulated the President, Government and people of Russia on the upcoming Victory Day and highlighted the strength and resilience displayed by the Soviet people during the war.

🕺💃 The reception was enlivened by the performance of the State Cossack Song and Dance Ensemble "Stavropolye", which delighted the audience with some of the most popular songs of the Great Patriotic War.

🎗 В рамках празднования 80-й годовщины Великой Победы в Посольстве состоялся творческий вечер известного актёра, каскадёра и артиста А.И.Иншакова, который посетил Исламабад по приглашению Посла России в Пакистане А.П.Хорева.

А.И.Иншаков исполнил наиболее известные композиции о Великой Отечественной войне и пообщался со зрителями, рассказав о своём творческом и жизненном пути.

🎗 As part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, the Embassy welcomed the famous actor, stuntman and performer Alexander Inshakov, who visited Islamabad at the invitation of Ambassador Albert P. Khorev.
