Сердечно приветствую вас в гостеприимной Казани на XVI Международном экономическом форуме «#РоссияИсламскийМир: #KazanForum».

На протяжении столетий наша многонациональная страна была открыта для широкого взаимодействия с государствами исламского мира. И сегодня, несмотря на сложную международную обстановку, мы продолжаем успешно и последовательно расширять экономические, научные, образовательные, гуманитарные, межрегиональные контакты. Отмечу, что Татарстан — один из тех субъектов Российской Федерации, которые наиболее активно выстраивают подобные плодотворные и конструктивные отношения.

B ходе форума вам предстоит обсудить перспективы дальнейшего укрепления наших связей в самых разных областях, в том числе технологической. Совместной работе по развитию цифровой финансовой системы будет посвящено заседание Группы стратегического видения «Россия – Исламский мир» с участием представителей Организации исламского сотрудничества.

В этом году мы празднуем 80-летие Победы в Великой Отечественной войне. Обращение к этой знаменательной дате найдёт достойное место в деловой и культурной программе форума. Нам важно беречь память об уроках истории, о мужестве и солидарности предков в борьбе с нацизмом, расизмом, колониализмом. И в наши дни только вместе мы можем обеспечить устойчивое, гармоничное развитие всего мирового сообщества, эффективно противостоять таким современным угрозам безопасности, как терроризм, экстремизм, эскалация локальных конфликтов.

Уверен, что работа форума будет, как всегда, продуктивной, послужит углублению диалога и партнёрства между нашими странами и народами.

✉️ President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants and guests of the 16th International Economic Forum Russia – Islamic World: #KazanForum.

✍️ For centuries, our multinational country has maintained open and extensive ties with countries of the Islamic world. Today, even amid a challenging global landscape, we continue to steadily and successfully expand our economic, scientific, educational, humanitarian, and interregional cooperation. Notably, Tatarstan stands out as one of the most active regions of the Russian Federation in fostering these productive and constructive relationships.

Throughout the forum, you will explore opportunities to further strengthen our cooperation across a wide range of fields, including technological development. A key focus will be the collaborative effort to build a digital financial system, which will be addressed in a dedicated meeting of the Russia – Islamic World Strategic Vision Group, with the participation of representatives from the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.

This year marks the 80th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The forum’s business and cultural programmes will appropriately honour this significant date. Preserving the memory of the past, including the courage and unity of our ancestors in their struggle against Nazism, racism, and colonialism, remains a vital responsibility. Today, more than ever, only through collective efforts can we ensure the sustainable and harmonious development of the global community and effectively address contemporary security challenges such as terrorism, extremism, and the escalation of regional conflicts.

I am confident that the forum’s work will once again be productive and will contribute to the deepening of dialogue and partnership among our countries and peoples.
