🔹 Несмотря на наши неоднократные предупреждения, уходящая администрация США при поддержке Великобритании и Франции предприняла осознанные и целенаправленные действия, способные привести к существенной эскалации украинского конфликта. Это значительно повышает стратегические риски и может привести к столкновению ядерных держав.

🔹 Мы, разумеется, обратили внимание на высказывания западных экспертов в том духе, что раз «красные линии» неоднократно и без последствий пересекались в прошлом, то ничего не произойдёт на этот раз. Это не так.

🔹 Применение ракет ATACMS и Storm Shadow предполагает непременное участие американского и британского персонала. Это меняет саму суть конфликта, как подчеркивал наш Президент, и напрямую вовлекает США, Великобританию и НАТО в военные действия против России. Ответ будет адекватным и ощутимым. Будет проведена оценка угроз Российской Федерации,
и Президент примет соответствующее решение.

🔹 Многие обсуждают сегодня данный вопрос в контексте изменений, внесенных в российскую доктрину ядерного сдерживания. Этот документ был адаптирован к реалиям современных конфликтов. Мы ожидаем, что он будет тщательно проанализирован западными экспертами и военными с целью понимания рисков эскалации и во избежание их недооценки.

🔹 Политика руководства России пользуется всеобъемлющей поддержкой и доверием населения нашей страны. Другая важная характеристика – абсолютное единство российского руководства по этому и всем остальным вопросам. Какие-либо спекуляции или попытки выискать зазоры или нюансы в наших позициях попросту бессмысленны.

🔹 Что касается решения британского правительства нанести удар ракетами Storm Shadow вглубь российской территории, отмечаю, что это прямой обман. В мае 2023 года нас уведомили официальной нотой, что данные системы будут применяться исключительно в пределах украинских границ, как их понимают в Лондоне. Впоследствии эта позиция неоднократно подтверждалась. Ответственные государства так себя не ведут.

• We have been assured many times by the British side that they would only use Storm Shadow cruise missiles on the territory of Ukraine. What has happened is a deliberate cheating. <...> The UK is now directly involved in this conflict because this firing [of the missiles] cannot happen without NATO and British staff.

• Our nuclear deterrence doctrine has been closely adapted to the realities of the current conflict. And I hope that it will be carefully studied by Western experts in order to understand the risks of escalation and do not underestimate them.

• We tried to resolve it [the Ukrainian crisis] through negotiations in April 2022. We were very close to that. But [UK former Prime Minister Boris] Johnson prevented that, unfortunately, and he is responsible for what is happening in Ukraine and for the losses that are happening. <...> He stopped the negotiations. He told Ukrainians to go and fight, which they didn't want to do.

• [New] territorial realities should be recognised [by Ukraine and the West]. What we also need is a nuclear-neutral Ukraine, the restoration of all minority rights and, of course, the lifting of sanctions. <...> We need a Ukraine that does not threaten us.

80 Years of Great Victory

⭐️ The official logo for the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War has been unveiled in Moscow.

This milestone honours the sacrifice and bravery of nearly 27 million Soviet soldiers and civilians who gave their lives in the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945), which ended with the unconditional defeat of Nazi Germany, a triumph achieved by the unwavering resolve of Soviet heroes and Allied forces.

Next year marks 80 years since that epochal victory — a moment to remember the extraordinary courage and unity that shaped the course of history and secured peace for generations.

☝️ Готовность руководства России решительно отстаивать законные интересы безопасности нашей страны, подкреплённая наглядной демонстрацией высокой эффективности отечественного арсенала стратегического сдерживания, возымели, как мы видим, заметный эффект на британский политистеблишмент.

Ещё более явственно, чем прежде, забрезжило осознание близящегося провала «украинского проекта», на который в Лондоне делали крупную ставку, рассчитывая выгодно нажиться на планах нанесения нашей стране чужими руками «стратегического поражения».

Инстинктивной реакцией британской пропагандистской машины на неприятные для Лондона новости из зоны СВО стал лихорадочный вброс в подконтрольные СМИ откровенно абсурдных антироссийских сюжетов.

Из этого ряда – конспирологические истории с пролётами неопознанных беспилотников над британскими военными базами и кораблями, алармистские придумки официоза о будто бы нависшей над страной российской киберугрозе, а также смакование ничем не подтверждённых деталей квазисудебных процедур в рамках других затеянных Лондоном провокаций, вроде «дела Скрипалей» и недавних складских «поджогов».

«Вишенкой на торте» стали вбросы о массовом наборе необученных иностранных граждан теперь из Йемена, Непала и Индии в ВС России. Эти сказки призваны заретушировать выявление британских наёмников, сражающихся в рядах ВСУ на территории России.

Никаких доказательств всем этим наветам, разумеется, нет, да и утративших связь с реальностью местных журналистов они, судя по всему, не интересуют.

❌ Иррациональная враждебность к нашей стране навязывается здешним политико-медийным «мейнстримом» в качестве догмы, которую рядовым британцам предлагается принимать на веру без критической оценки.

Хотя вопрос о наличии причинно-следственной связи между лидирующей ролью Лондона в эскалации военного конфликта на Украине, а также растущим чувством небезопасности, которое испытывают сами же британцы, пусть и по подложным основаниям, казалось бы, лежит на поверхности.

Истинную цель очередного витка антироссийской кампании Лондона усматриваем в попытке зацементировать пошатнувшийся проукраинский консенсус на фоне всё более явных успехов российской армии на поле боя, а также сдвигов в политико-электоральном ландшафте в ключевых странах Запада.

Просматривается и заинтересованность местного «силового блока» под сурдинку запросить дополнительное финансирование на оборонные нужды.

Не случайно, вторым планом к медийным инсинуациям проходят растиражированные в СМИ под видом аналитики призывы к европейцам подставить плечо Вашингтону, увеличив свои военные расходы аж до 3-4% ВВП. А, значит, изношенная инфраструктура и испытывающая серьёзные проблемы система здравоохранения Великобритании в перспективе могут недосчитаться ещё многих десятков миллиардов фунтов стерлингов.

Embassy comment on deceptive fabrications by British establishment and media regarding Russia

☝️ The Russian leadership's steadfast commitment to rigorously upholding the legitimate security interests of our country, supported by the convincing demonstration of the effectiveness of our strategic deterrence capabilities, has evidently made a tangible impression on the British establishment.

The growing awareness of the imminent failure of the "Ukraine project" has become ever more apparent. This venture was a big gamble for London which evidently counted on making a handy profit from inflicting a "strategic defeat" on Russia through its proxies.

In its instinctive reaction to unfavorable developments in the area of the Special Military Operation, the British propaganda machine feverishly deployed a wave of ridiculous anti-Russian narratives via mainstream media.

These include the conspiracy stories about unidentified drones allegedly hovering over British military bases and vessels, alarmist inventions by British officials of a supposed Russian cyber threat looming over the UK, as well as the recycling of unsubstantiated details related to quasi-judicial procedures initiated following a number of provocations orchestrated by London, such as the Skripal affair and the recent incidents of warehouse fires.

Top among these fairy tales is the claim of mass recruitment by Russian Armed Forces of untrained foreign nationals from Yemen, Nepal, and India. These stories are likely designed to divert attention from the documented evidence of British mercenaries fighting alongside Ukrainian forces within Russian territory.

Predictably, no evidence has been provided to support these allegations, yet this does not seem to concern most local journalists, themselves increasingly detached from reality.

❌ Instead, irrational hostility towards Russia is promoted as dogma by the political and media mainstream, expected to be swallowed by the British public without scrutiny or critical analysis.

Notably absent from public discourse is any examination of the potential connection between London's leading role in escalating the conflict in Ukraine and the growing sense of insecurity among British citizens, even when this insecurity is based on questionable premises.

The Embassy identifies the primary objectives of this renewed anti-Russian campaign as attempts to reinforce the diminishing pro-Ukrainian consensus amidst the visible successes of the Russian Armed Forces, as well as shifts in the political and electoral landscape of key Western states. This narrative also serves the interests of the British security and defense sector, likely seeking additional funding under the pretext of bolstering national security.

It is no coincidence that alongside these media insinuations, there are increasingly vocal calls framed as analytical recommendations for European countries to align with Washington's demands to raise defense expenditures to 3-4% of GDP. Such measures, however, threaten to divert tens of billions of pounds away from addressing critical domestic issues, such as the UK’s aging infrastructure and overburdened healthcare system.

🌊 Великобритания, некогда носившая гордое звание «владычицы морей», по мере утраты былого величия превращается в источник проблем и неправомерных ограничений для деятельности судоходства во всём мире.

Анонсированные британскими властями 25 ноября всё новые антироссийские меры под предлогом борьбы с неким «теневым флотом», как и все предыдущие, не нанесут ущерба экономике нашей страны, преодолевшей зависимость от влияния западной финансовой и страховой инфраструктуры.

Зато своими решениями Лондон пополнил копилку односторонних западных рестрикций, способствующих усилению географических и структурных перекосов в международной морской торговле, а также отставанию в реализации масштабных технологических, в т.ч. «зелёных» задач, стоящих перед этой углеродоёмкой отраслью.

Думаем, что следствием планомерно создаваемых британскими властями и их союзниками по «семёрке» и НАТО логистических проблем для международной морской торговли, в первую очередь, станет рост цен на сырьё в мире.

В этом случае результаты «кипучей активности» Лондона вполне могут ощутить на своих оскудевших кошельках рядовые жители самой Британии. Что хуже, ими могут быть затронуты многие развивающиеся страны, за интересы которых страны Запада в последнее время лицемерно «радеют».

❗️ В любом случае эти конфронтационные шаги, вопреки фантазиям генераторов «санкций» с Даунинг-стрит, никак не повлияют на решимость руководства и народа нашей страны к последовательному отстаиванию национальных интересов, в т.ч. применительно к целям и задачам СВО.

⚡️ Russia's Foreign Ministry Statement on personal sanctions against representatives of the United Kingdom’s political establishment, military and defence-related entities, as well as journalists

Once again, the Foreign Ministry has to raise its voice against the unrelenting aggressive anti-Russian rhetoric coming from the United Kingdom’s authorities, as well as London’s persistent efforts to impose illegitimate unilateral restrictions on our country, coupled with its reckless policy to support the neo-Nazi Kiev regime in pursuit of its vested geopolitical interests, which further delays the resolution of the Ukraine conflict without any reason.

This Russia-hating policy includes efforts to discredit Russia’s actions and isolate it on the international stage, while also spreading misinformation about our country, including in the context of the special military operation, coupled with offering military support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which borders on UK’s direct involvement in the conflict. This can lead to further escalation and demonstrates London’s commitment to carrying on with its system-wide confrontation with Russia.

Once again, Moscow stresses that this policy has no future and calls on London to renounce it in favour of mutually respectful and constructive ties for greater security and stability around the world.

❌ In response to the hostile actions by the UK, Russia decided to designate several members of the UK’s political establishment, the military, high-technology sector, as well as journalists on the Russian stop list.

👉 The list of UK subjects who are now banned from entering the Russian Federation.

The Foreign Ministry will further expand the stop list in response to the United Kingdom’s hostile actions.

Embassy comment on the latest British "sanctions"

🌊 The United Kingdom, which once ruled the waves, has alongside its loss of influence increasingly become a source of unwarranted restrictions and disruptions to international maritime operations.

The most recent anti-Russian measures announced by British authorities on 25 November under the pretext of combating some phantom "shadow fleet" will have, like the ones before, no discernible impact on Russia's economy, which has weaned itself off the Western financial and insurance infrastructure.

Nevertheless London has through its actions added to unilateral Western restrictions that serve to exacerbate geographic and structural imbalances in global maritime trade. Their cumulative effect may further hinder this carbon-intensive industry from attaining its ambitious technological and environmental goals.

The logistical challenges for international maritime trade systematically created by UK authorities, alongside their G7 and NATO allies, may have far-reaching repercussions, including, above all, rising global commodity prices.

London's zealotry may thus have an adverse effect on the pockets of ordinary Britons. Moreover, these policies may end up harming some developing nations, whose interests the West has been hypocritically claiming to champion in recent times.

❗️ In any case, however much sanctions-inventors at Downing Street may delude themselves, these confrontational acts will not diminish the resolve of Russia's leadership and its people to advance our national interests, including the goals and objectives of the Special Military Operation.

💬 Increasing numbers of participants in the international dialogue are coming to the realisation that the exploitation of former colonies by the colonial powers has never stopped.

All it did was merely adjust its form, but the goal has remained the same, and it is to pump out resources from the countries of Asia, Africa, and Latin America to sustain the West’s dominance and ensure a high standard of living for its people.

The methods can vary from sanctions pressure to coercion into signing unequal predatory agreements. Clearly, this slows down the development of the Global South and the Global East, particularly the poorest and the least developed nations among them.

The developing countries keep raising the issue of their rightful spot in the global division of labour, which, in its current form, is a stark manifestation of modern neocolonialism in and of itself. <...>

We have no illusions and we are clear-eyed about the fact that Western neocolonialists will never give up their privileges of their own accord.

Everyone can see that the West is shamelessly leveraging international financial institutions to promote its self-serving interests. The IMF and the WTO have been politicised, and "undesirable" members of these organisations are being openly discriminated against.

This is why, alongside our like-minded partners from around the world, we believe that bringing principles and governance system established by the Bretton Woods institutions in line with the realities of the global economy is a long time coming. In fact, the G7 economies account for less than a third of global GDP, whereas BRICS nations make up 36 percent.

☝️ The West ostensibly agrees with this view, but is unwilling to take action.

But, of course, we will see what he is going to do as his first steps and then we will make our judgement.

🔹 [US President] Joe Biden has seriously contributed to the crisis [in relations] between Russia and Ukraine, to the expansion of the Ukraine conflict by supplying weapons, by leading Western countries against Russia. It was all a hybrid war against our country.

🔹 The Ukraine conflict is dragging on mainly because Western countries – the US, the UK and others – are supplying Ukraine with a lot of weapons and a lot of money.

🔹 We can start talking about peace on the day Ukraine withdraws from 4 regions that have decided to be part of Russia. But what we see from the Ukrainian side is that they are still not proposing any [real] peace plan and they are sticking to the well-known 10-point plan, which includes the actual surrender of the Russian forces […] and all this nonsense that has nothing to do with the real situation on the ground.

🔹 Two elements are missing from all these peace plan initiatives [on Ukraine proposed by third parties]. The first is the abolition of racial segregation in Ukraine, the restoration of human rights for Russian speakers there. The second is that we do not need a temporary cessation of hostilities, we need a comprehensive settlement, a lasting, long-term and reliable one. We do not want Ukraine to be rearmed by the West to resume the fighting at a new level.

🔹 Nothing can justify what happened on 7 October last year when Hamas attacked Israel. But nothing can also justify the collective punishment of the Palestinians as well. 40,000 civilians have already died. <...> It is terrible what is happening over there. Of course it should be stopped as soon as possible, but the only solution is to return to the overall settlement of the Middle East crisis, including the two-state solution for Israel and Palestine.

🗓 On November 28, 1943, the Tehran Conference opened as the first face-to-face meeting between the leaders of the USSR, the United States and Great Britain during World War II. Chairman of the Council of People’s Commissars of the USSR Joseph Stalin, President of the United States Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Winston Churchill spent four days discussing ways to strengthen the coalition for defeating Hitler and the post-war world order.

Our country’s success on the frontline was a key factor which made this conference possible. In fact, the war entered a new stage in February 1943 after the USSR defeated the Nazi troops in Stalingrad, while the effective offensive by the Soviet troops along the Kursk Bulge in the summer of 1943 persuaded the Western leaders that the days were counted for the Third Reich.

☝️ It is an established fact that Nazi spies conceived a special operation in Tehran to assassinate the Big Three leaders. However, the Soviet intelligence officers prevented this act of sabotage just a few days before the event was expected to begin. Over 400 German agents were arrested.

At the conference, the final decision on the timeframe for opening a second front in Europe was the main diplomatic victory for the USSR. Heated debates led to the signing of the Military Conclusions of the Tehran Conference, which stipulated that US and British troops would launch their landing operation in Normandy, France, during May 1944.

The conference’s agenda also covered:

✔️ the post-war world order, including the borders between European countries;

✔️ the decision on USSR entering the war against Japan after defeating Germany;

✔️ an idea of setting up some kind of an organisation in charge of preserving peace – it was a harbinger of UN’s establishment.

✍️ The three powers adopted a declaration reaffirming their commitment to “work together in war and in the peace that will follow.”

During the conference, Winston Churchill presented a ceremonial longsword to Joseph Stalin on behalf of King George VI of the United Kingdom as a token of homage to the courage of the Soviet defenders of Stalingrad. It was later transferred to the Battle of Stalingrad Museum in Volgograd.

🎙 Excerpt from President Vladimir Putin's answers to media questions following his state visit to Kazakhstan and the CSTO summit (28 November 2024)

❓ Question: Western media outlets report that some US and European politicians and officials are already suggesting giving nuclear weapons back to Kiev. How real is this scenario, in your opinion? Or is it some sort of escalation and fear-mongering? Yet if this happens, if nuclear weapons are given to the Kiev regime, how will Russia respond? Could preventive measures be taken? Does Ukraine’s non-nuclear status remain a precondition for settling the conflict?

💬 Vladimir Putin: Being a sane person, what do you think we are going to do if the country we are fighting with becomes a nuclear power? In this case we will use all weapons Russia has, all of them. We will not let this happen. This is the first point.

Secondly, such statements can only be made by irresponsible individuals who are not accountable for anything and do not feel any burden of responsibility for the destiny of their countries and the entire world.

And thirdly, if someone transfers something officially, that will constitute a violation of all assumed commitments regarding non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.

And we will not let this happen in Ukraine itself, we will be watching every step being taken there.

It used to be a very high-tech and industrially developed republic of the Soviet Union. However, everything or nearly everything Soviet Ukraine could take pride in has been lost.

Thus it will be next to impossible to do it from scratch. What could be done is something dirty, a dirty bomb by scrambling up nuclear power plants’ waste.

❗️ But even in this case the response will be absolutely adequate to the threats to the Russian Federation.

🕯On November 29, 1941, Soviet partisan scout Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya, after brutal torture and humiliation, was executed by Nazis. She was the first woman awarded the noscript of the Hero of the Soviet Union (posthumously) during the Great Patriotic War.

When the war broke out, young Zoya, like many of her peers, became a home-front worker: she sewed duffel bags and buttonholes for shelter-halves, served as a stamper and tally clerk at a factory.

At the age of 18, shortly upon graduation from school, she volunteered to fight Nazis.

⚔️ In late October of 1941, when the Battle of Moscow was in full swing, Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya joined the Red Army. She was enlisted in reconnaissance at the headquarters of the Western Front. Along with other volunteers, Zoya learned the guerrilla warfare and sabotage skills, such as mining, cutting wire lines, and obtaining information about the enemy.

On November 4, 1941, her scout group was dispatched in the Nazi rear to lay minefields in the vicinity of Volokolamsk, near Moscow.

After this mission was successfully completed, scout group commanders of reconnaissance unit No 9903, in which Zoya served, were tasked with burning 10 villages in the enemy rear within a week.

Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya managed to burn three houses in Petrishchevo village, used by the Nazis as a transport hub during the offensive on Moscow.

The remote village also housed a Wehrmacht radio intelligence unit. Among the houses that were burned by Zoya, one was used as a communications centre, and the others as barracks for Nazi soldiers waiting to be sent to attack Moscow.

During this mission, the young woman was captured by the enemy.

The Germans tortured Zoya for a long time. Despite the humiliation and brutal beating, the partisan lady did not betray her comrades, did not give away to the enemy the number of her unit or any other information that was a military secret. She did not even give them her name, saying during interrogation that she was Tanya.

▪️ On November 29, Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya was publicly hanged by Nazis in front of the inhabitants of one of the occupied villages.

💬 Zoya’s final words were to her fascist executioners:

“You will hang me now, but I am not alone. There are 200 million of us. You cannot hang everyone. I will be avenged.”

Only on January 1, 1942, her body was finally interred. In 1942, Zoya was properly reburied at the Novodevichy Cemetery in Moscow.

🎖 Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya and her heroic feat will forever remain in people's memory as the embodiment of unparalleled fortitude and courage, dedication and heroism. Her example inspired hundreds of thousands of her peers to fight Nazis in #WWII.

☝️ Что касается применения «Орешника», это произвело на здешнюю публику очень серьёзное впечатление. <...>

Местные СМИ и соцсети вмиг запестрели апокалиптическими заголовками. В них читается осознание того, что именно отмашка Вашингтона, Лондона и Парижа на применение ВСУ дальнобойных вооружений для ударов вглубь России подвела мир как никогда близко к опасной черте.

На этом фоне в Британии, пожалуй, впервые начали весьма отчетливо звучать призывы не допускать дальнейшей эскалации.


Британские наёмники на Украине

🪖 Все знают, что значительное число британских наёмников находится на Украине. <...> Джеймс Андерсон попал в плен в районе курской авантюры ВСУ. Чем занимался этот персонаж, воюя бок о бок с украинскими боевиками, думаю, пояснять не надо.

Сейчас он публично раскаивается в том, что пришёл на нашу землю и удивляется, что его бывшие украинские сослуживцы стреляли ему в спину, когда он сдавался в плен.

В отношении британского наёмника возбуждено уголовное дело. Он обвиняется в том, что в составе вооружённых формирований Украины незаконно пересёк государственную границу России и участвовал в боевых действиях. Британец и его сообщники, судя по всему, совершали преступления против мирного населения.


Эскалация украинского конфликта

❌ Британцы полностью проигнорировали все предупреждающие сигналы с нашей стороны и перешли к острым эскалационным действиям по дальнейшему углублению украинского кризиса.

Это чревато усилением стратегических рисков, а в худшем случае – столкновением ядерных держав.

Полагаем, что Великобритания, как и другие страны НАТО, теперь вовлечена в вооружённый конфликт вместе с Украиной против нас.


Антироссийские санкции Лондона

🚢 Внедряя свои односторонние санкции в систему международного морского судоходства, они [западники] «копают» под мировую торговлю в целом. Вносят в неё новые структурные и географические перекосы, формируют диспропорции в механизмах страхования и финансирования морской торговли.

За все эти издержки, в конечном счёте, придётся платить покупателям перевозимых морским путём товаров. Это ударит и по карманам самих британцев, которые живут на острове и без морской торговли никак не обойдутся. В общем пилят сук, на котором сами сидят.

There’s a letter written by Bishop Beilby Porteus of London, in which he had the following to say about the religion for slaves toiling on the Caribbean sugar plantations, "prepare a short form of public prayer, together with select portions of noscripture particularly those which relate of the slave duties toward the master".

Prayer alone was not enough. In the late 18th and early 19th centuries, a special Bible for the British colonies, also known in the world biblical studies as the Slave Bible, was published.

They took out 90% of the Old Testament and 50% of the New Testament. In order to enslave the souls and minds of millions of slaves, the ancestors of today’s Western liberals censored the Holy Scriptures, removing passages that might instill in the minds of slave labourers the idea that all people are equal before God. The Slave Bibles had been published in London since the early 19th century. Little has changed since then.

The Kiev regime operates under the direct control of the the US, the UK and their NATO satellites, and acts in line with British colonial practices.

It uses many modern techniques of ultra-liberal Western ideology. Cancel culture is one such technique. The systematic rewriting and falsification of its own past by Ukrainian propagandists, including the erasure of entire chapters from history textbooks, is part of this approach.

The entire Western-controlled media sphere is a kind of slave bible.

Today, Western public relations agencies are engaged in such neo-colonial practices. The West owns news corporations that have global reach, operate in conjunction with an intricate network of lobbyists, and conduct information campaigns to advance their owners’ self-serving interests.

☝️ Their main aim is to create an aura of mass support for the neo-liberal policies of Washington and London, and to cut off the public from sources of alternative information.
