In recent days the British authorities have surpassed themselves in deploying unacceptable and offensive language against our country and its leadership.

On 2 December, in his speech at London’s Guildhall, Prime Minister Keir Starmer labeled Russia as an "erratic and increasingly desperate aggressor". Before that UK officials had attempted to portray Russia as “depraved” and its citizens as lacking in “critical thinking".

Such obnoxious remarks, sadly, are nothing new to us. They reflect, above all, the continuing decline in professionalism and self-respect within the British establishment.

At pains to reconcile itself with reality, London is agonizing over the evident blunder of its destructive anti-Russian strategy in Ukraine. This is further manifested by a new bout of Russophobic psychosis in British media, fueled by spy mania and fabricated cyber scares.

As for vague allusions to a negotiated conclusion to the Ukraine crisis, seemingly detected by some local media within Keir Starmer’s speech, these would have been, even if real, deeply cynical and untrustworthy.

☝️ London’s track record on Ukraine speaks for itself. Among its many “achievements” are arming and financing of the neo-Nazi Kiev regime, deploying British instructors to facilitate provocations and subversive operations against the Russian Armed Forces, derailing the peace negotiations, personally managed by the irresponsible Boris Johnson in spring 2022, as well as stubbornly escalating the conflict without regard to unprecedented risks such actions pose to European and global stability.

Even now, while speaking of peace, in practice the British authorities strive, as Prime Minister Starmer admitted, to strengthen the position of their Kiev proxies on the battlefield. As a result of this bloodthirsty policy, sponsored by the West, thousands more forcibly connoscripted Ukrainians will likely be hastened to their demise.

Lasting peace in Ukraine can only be achieved by addressing the root causes of the crisis, themselves largely a product of policies of the UK and others.

This implies, first and foremost, ensuring the comprehensive security of the Russian Federation through the demilitarisation and de-Nazification of Ukraine, securing the non-nuclear and neutral non-aligned status for Ukraine, while recognising new territorial realities. Naturally, this is incompatible with media-circulated insinuations that either Ukraine or some of its regions may go on to become part of NATO.

It is imperative that the rights, freedoms, and interests of Russian-speakers in Ukraine are fully guaranteed and that all Western sanctions are lifted.

❗️ Regardless of the British government’s infatuation with confrontational and inflammatory anti-Russian rhetoric, a peaceful resolution of the Ukraine crisis cannot be achieved unless these conditions are fulfilled.

📸 On December 4, international photo project #WeAccuse was launched in Moscow. It was co-produced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the magazine 'New Regions of Russia' journal and Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library.

💬 Russian Foreign Ministry's Ambassador-at-Large on the Kiev Regime's War Crimes Rodion Miroshnik:
We present the photo evidence of Ukrainian crimes in Donbass and other Russian territories adjacent to the border.

Today it is necessary to collect and present to the whole world the true face of neo-Nazism, which has seized power in Ukraine «under false flag» – using slogans of freedom, democracy, justice. These photos demonstrate the true state of affairs better than a thousand words.

None of the crimes can be forgotten or lost amid other events. None of the victims of the Kiev regime can be deprived of the realization that the perpetrator has been punished and held accountable for his crimes.

Today we are preparing the first part of this work – collecting and presenting evidence of criminal acts committed by the Kiev regime under the cover of "Western partners".

The lop-sided “visual investigation” in FT’s online edition on 4th December, sensationally noscriptd “Russia uses civilians as “target practice” for killer drones”, marks yet another foray of the still largely influential newspaper into the realm of tabloid pro-Ukrainian agitprop.

Fact-checking appears to have taken second place to raw emotional manipulation here. Just to pinpoint some problematic issues FT editors should have picked up on immediately upon reading the draft.

🔹 FT’s main interlocutors are a Ukrainian military garrison commander of Kherson, currently under temporary occupation by the Kiev regime, as well as a Ukrainian military “spokesperson”. They thus cannot be expected to articulate a balanced position, a fact that goes explicitly unremarked by FT. There are no alternative opinions to offset this Ukrainian military narrative. Remarking on civilian casualties, real or not, the authors make no mention of year-long shelling, UAV strikes and the deliberate scattering of anti-personnel mines by Ukrainian forces in Russian cities across the zone of conflict, including in Donetsk and Lugansk;

🔹 The article manages, within the space of a few paras, to suggest that Russian UAV’s supposed “targets” are civilians (again, paradoxically, in a Russian region, the Khersonskaya oblast, living under Ukrainian occupation), yet later on openly admits that “military vehicles” are the favoured targets. There appears to be a series of similar contradictions throughout the article;

🔹 This is unsurprising. Kherson and its surroundings are known to Russians and Ukrainians alike to be used as a springboard for Ukrainian reconnaisance and sabotage operations, as well as tactical offensives by Ukrainian forces across the Dnepr river and its many islands. These actions, generally unsuccessful and resulting in high attrition rates for pro-Kiev militants, are known to be prepared and coordinated by Western, primarily British military consultants, posing as “volunteers” and “NGO workers”;

🔹 That the narrative is emotionally geared towards Brits is manifestly clear from references to “London weather”, an area “half the size of London” and London-based “non-profit” structures, in reality embedded with Ukrainian military intelligence;

🔹 A video of an “ambulance” is shown, supposedly damaged by a “Russian” drone strike. The video depicts three men, two of them clad in khaki body armour and black helmets, exiting the vehicle upon impact. These individuals, whose appearance is distinctly uncharacteristic of civilian ambulance personnel, are shown again in a separate photo, appearing to be “repairing” the vehicle. Ukrainian civilian ambulances, some bearing the red cross, are well known to combatants on both sides to be heavily employed for military purposes, including ferrying weapons and ammunition to the front lines. This has been extensively documented, yet FT appears to be unaware of this problem;

🔹 Ukrainian military units, dispersed across Kherson and deliberately making use of civilian shelters and vehicles for cover, represent lawful military targets for Russian forces. That the Ukrainian military occupation administration attempts to conflate its losses with civilian casualties (many caused through its own counter-UAV actions), muddying the line between the two, is a clear violation of the norms of warfare.

We would suggest that the FT retains clear focus on its world-renowned core economic and financial competencies. Its readership can certainly do without coarse and manipulative Russophobic handouts.

"We are winning [in Ukraine]"

📺 Watch Ambassador Andrei Kelin's interview with LBC presenter Andrew Marr (5 December 2024)

• [The UK] is involved [in the Ukraine conflict], because Britain has sent quite a lot of officers, soldiers and military specialists to Ukraine. The Storm Shadow strikes are not possible without participation of British militaries. Britain is fighting a proxy war against Russia.

• [The reports that Russia is trying to conduct so-called grey war operations against Britain] are pure fantasy.

• Ukraine should stay non-nuclear and out of NATO. <...> It should be neutral in accordance with its constitution. As for other arrangements, guarantees and whatever else, we are ready to consider any constructive proposal.

We could have ended [the conflict] in negotiations in April 2022 if [former British Prime Minister] Boris Johnson had not come and said to the Ukrainians: "Let's get out of this agreement, throw it away and you should fight".

• The future restoration of Ukraine will depend a lot on the behaviour of the Ukrainian government. <...> They should understand that <...> they should be friendly with their neighbours and that is the only way to get Ukraine back to normal.

Key talking points

#RussiaUS

• We would like to have normal relations with all countries especially with the United States. We don't see any reason why Russia and the United States cannot cooperate for the sake of the universe.

• The Ukrainians would not be able to do what they're doing with long-range modern weapons without direct participation of the American servicemen. We don't want to aggravate the situation, but since ATACMS and other long-range weapons are being used against mainland Russia as it were, we are sending signals. <...>

[The US and its allies] must understand that we would be ready to use any means not to allow them to succeed in what they call strategic defeat of Russia. They fight for keeping the hegemony over the world on any country, any region, any continent. We fight for our legitimate security interests.

• We don't want to aggravate the situation, but since ATACMS and other long-range weapons are being used against mainland Russia, we are sending signals. We hope that the last one, a couple of weeks ago, the signal with the new weapon system called #Oreshnik was taken seriously.

• When the United States and other Western countries recognized unilateral declaration of independence of Kosovo, they said this is the self-determination being implemented. There was no referendum in Kosovo — unilateral declaration of independence. <...> And when a few years later, Crimeans were holding referendum with invitation of many international observers, not from international organizations, but from parliamentarians in Europe, in Asia, in post-Soviet space, they said that they cannot accept this because this is violation of territorial integrity 🤷‍♂️

The UN Charter is not a menu. You have to respect it in all its entirety 👉 #UNCharterIsOurRules

• I think [Donald Trump] is a very strong person. A person who wants results. Who doesn't like procrastination on anything. But this does not mean that he's pro-Russian as some people try to present him. The amount of sanctions we received under the Trump administration was very big.

#Ukraine

• We strongly prefer peaceful solution through negotiations on the basis of respecting legitimate security interest of Russia, and on the basis of respecting the people who live in Ukraine, who still live in Ukraine being Russians. <...>

No military bases, no military exercises on the Ukrainian soil with participation of foreign troops. <...> We cannot tolerate a deal which would keep the legislation which are prohibiting Russian language, Russian media, Russian culture, Ukrainian Orthodox Church, because it is a violation of the obligations of Ukraine under the UN Charter.

• We are not talking about exterminating anybody's population. We don't have any intention to exterminate Ukrainian people. They are brothers and sisters to the Russian people.

• It is becoming clear that there is a fatigue in some capitals, and there are talks every now and then that the Americans would like to leave [Ukraine] with the Europeans and to concentrate on something more important.

#Syria

• The Americans in the east of Syria groom some Kurdish separatists using the profits from oil and grain sold, the resources which they occupy. <...> The information [on who's backing Islamist groups] which is being floated and it's in the public domain mentions among others the Americans, the Brits. Some people say that Israel is interested in making this situation aggravate. So that Gaza is not under very close scrutiny.

Anticipating the imminent failure of its "Ukrainian project" and striving to divert attention from troubling trends in the British economy, the UK's political establishment has chosen to inject new vigor into its anti-Russian propaganda and disinformation campaign.

Mainstream media outlets are feverishly deploying politically vetted absurd narratives designed to indoctrinate the British public with fears of an omnipresent Russian threat.

These include alarmist depiction of presumed risks from "Russian hackers" targeting the UK, money-laundering schemes aimed at circumventing illegitimate Western sanctions ostensibly uncovered by local law enforcement agencies, fragmentary disclosures from quasi-judicial procedures following provocations orchestrated by London, such as the "Skripal affair" and recent warehouse arsons.

The list of dismal "James Bond" parodies has grown even longer thanks to a recent story about Bulgarian nationals accused of spying for Russia.

Every day brings new revelations about "operations" attributed to this Bulgarian outfit, all of them planned but never implemented. These include an alleged plot to assassinate a journalist disguised as an ISIS-style terror attack or the staging of a protest outside a diplomatic mission in London.

All these allegations are blatantly false. UK authorities, who know this, are not even bothered with presenting solid evidence.

The media outlets engaged in these anti-Russian propaganda chores seem to relish the insecurity experienced by many Brits as a result of growing crime in the country.

Assuredly, such antics will not have the desired effect upon level-headed audience in the UK and other European countries.

☝️ They will certainly have no impact on Russia's steadfast commitment to rigorously upholding its legitimate interests, as well as developing equal and mutually beneficial relations with its allies and partners.

🎙 Excerpt from Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s answers to media questions following the 22th Doha Forum (7 December 2024)

Question: There is so much to talk to you about but I'd like to start with Syria. Those dramatic developments that seem to be reshaping the political map of Syria. I would like your reaction to the things which had happened for the last ten days.

💬 Sergey Lavrov: The reaction has been public. Repeatedly stated.

It’s inadmissible to allow the terrorist groups to take control of the lands
in violation of agreements which exist starting with the UN Security Council Resolution 2254 which strongly reiterated the sovereignty, territorial integrity and unity of the Syrian Arab Republic, which condemned any attempts by terrorists to disturb the life of Syrians, and which called for the direct dialogue between the government and the opposition. And the opposition groups listed in that Resolution.

If we speak about Hayat Tahrir al-Sham specifically, in 2018 and 2020 in the framework of the Astana format two agreements were signed clearly solidifying the common resolve not to allow Hayat Tahrir al-Sham to rule in Idlib to be thrown out of Idlib. And this agreements have not been implemented. And now they are grossly violated. <...>

We strongly reiterated territorial integrity, sovereignty and unity of the Syrian Arab Republic. We called for immediate end of hostile activities.

We stated that we want the Resolution 2254 to be fully implemented and for this purpose called for the dialogue between the government and legitimate opposition, as provided in that Resolution.

☝️ The main thing is not to say something new. The main thing is implement everything to which you sign up.

Russia's Foreign Ministry Statement

❗️ We are following the dramatic developments in Syria with extreme concern.

Following his talks with a number of participants in the armed conflict in the Syrian Arab Republic, Bashar al-Assad decided to step down as the Syrian President and leave the country, instructing the government to transfer power peacefully.

Russia was not a party in those negotiations.

However, we call on all the parties involved to renounce the use of violence and resolve all governance issues through political efforts.

In this regard, Russia maintains contact with all Syrian opposition groups. We urge all the parties to respect the opinions of all ethnic and religious groups in Syrian society.

We strongly support efforts to establish an inclusive political process based on Resolution 2254, unanimously adopted by the UN Security Council.

We hope that these approaches will be taken into account by the UN and all stakeholders, including in the context of implementing UN Special Envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen’s recent initiative for urgent inclusive intra-Syrian talks in Geneva.

Additionally, Russia is taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety of our citizens in Syria.

Russian military bases in Syria are on high alert. There is no serious threat to their security at the moment.

🎙 Excerpt from Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s interview to Tucker Carlson (Moscow, 6 December 2024)

💬 When people in the West say we want this conflict to be resolved on the basis of the UN Charter and respect for territorial integrity of Ukraine, and Russia must withdraw. <...> It's a misnomer, because if you want to respect the UN Charter, you have to respect it in its entirety.

The UN Charter, among other things, says that all countries must respect equality of states and right of people for self-determination.

And they also mentioned the United Nations General Assembly resolutions, and this is clear that what they mean is the series of resolutions which they passed after the beginning of this special military operation and which demand condemnation of Russia, Russia to get out of Ukraine territory in 1991 borders.

But there are other UNGA resolutions which were not voted, but which were consensual, and among them is a Declaration on Principles of International Law concerning Friendly Relations and Co-operation among States in accordance with the UN Charter. And it clearly says, by consensus, everybody must respect territorial integrity of states whose governments respect the right of people for self-determination, and because of that represent the entire population living on a given territory.

❗️ To argue that the people who came to power [in Kiev] through military coup d'état in February 2014 represented Crimeans or the citizens of eastern and southern Ukraine is absolutely useless. <...>

The last point is that if we speak about the UN Charter, resolutions, international law, the very first article of the UN Charter, which the West never, never recalls in the Ukrainian context, says, "Respect human rights of everybody, irrespective of race, gender, language, or religion."

Take any conflict. The US, UK, Brussels, they would interfere, saying, "Oh, human rights have been grossly violated. We must restore the human rights in such and such territory".

On Ukraine, never, ever they mumbled the words "human rights," seeing these human rights for the Russian and Russian-speaking population being totally exterminated by law.

So when people say, "Let's resolve the conflict on the basis of the UN Charter", - yes. But don't forget that the Charter is not only about territorial integrity.

☝️ And territorial integrity must be respected only if the governments are legitimate and if they respect the rights of their own people.

Comment by Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov

We have carefully read the statement by US President-elect Donald Trump, made after his meeting with Macron and Zelensky in Paris.

President Putin has repeatedly said Russia was open to negotiations on Ukraine and welcomed peace initiatives, primarily those coming from countries of the Global South, as well as our BRICS partners, including China, Brazil, and South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, which are engaged in work on the humanitarian track.

Our stance on Ukraine is well known. The conditions required to cease the hostilities immediately were laid out by President Putin in June this year in his
speech at Russia's Foreign Ministry.

What bears reminding here is that it was Ukraine that rejected negotiations, and the country still rejects them. Moreover, Zelensky has, by his own decree, banned himself and his presidential office from making any engagements with the Russian leadership. This particular stance of theirs remains unchanged. Yet, all Zelensky has to do to enter a trajectory of peace is to revoke this decree and issue an order to resume dialogue on the basis of arrangements made in Istanbul and with account taken of the realities taking shape on the ground.

As for the data on both sides' casualties, these were obviously presented in accordance with the Ukrainian narrative and reflect the official position of Ukraine. The actual casualty figures are completely different. Ukraine's casualties are many times higher than Russia's.

If such a casualty pace is maintained further, Ukraine's manpower will be completely depleted, and the country will have to lower the mobilization age to 18 years and step up the press-ganging practices. However, even all these measures will not change the catastrophic situation the Ukrainian forces are now finding themselves in. This is not news for Ukraine itself or for international observers.

💬 The Embassy continues to monitor the ongoing inquiry into the circumstances of the death of British citizen Dawn Sturgess. This tragic incident is visibly being linked to the "Skripal affair" by UK authorities.

Public hearings, a part of the inquiry, ended last week. As expected, they failed to shed more light on what really happened in Salisbury and Amesbury in 2018. Nothing has become clearer. Yet clarity was never the objective.

Representatives of the British authorities, acting as "witnesses", used the inquiry to promote spurious anti-Russian narratives. Crucial participants and interested parties did not even attend. The submitted accounts of the events contain more inconsistencies.

The hearings have confirmed our earlier assessment that the entire process remains opaque, biased and politically motivated.

☝️ Relying on narratives already implanted via the media, the UK authorities are practically guaranteed to secure a quasi-judicial "endorsement" of their politicised version of events – a work of fiction that has for years been utilised to undermine relations with our country.

Following the UK's wholesale abandonment in 2018 of cooperation with Russia to establish the facts behind the Skripal incident, this eventual outcome will serve as yet another confirmation of its premeditated and provocative nature.

Whereas the 2018 Salisbury provocation was primarily used by London for geopolitical maneuvering, it now seems to be cynically exploited to divert attention from a profoundly human issue: uncovering the truth about what happened to Dawn Sturgess.

It would increasingly appear that the British authorities, fully aware of their responsibility for the security of their citizens, are seeking to cover up their own deficiencies behind a panoply of anti-Russian smokes and mirrors.

As for Russia, we are predominantly concerned by the absence of any information regarding our citizens, Sergei and Yulia Skripal. The latest hearings have only reinforced our apprehension about their fate, as it becomes evident that the British authorities are, at best, concealing their whereabouts.

Russia has consistently and publicly highlighted concerns about the disappearance of our citizens. In his interview with Tucker Carlson on December 6th Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov once again pointed out that the UK authorities were deliberately refusing to provide any information about Sergei and Yulia Skripal in blatant violation of their international legal obligations.

❗️ The Embassy will remain steadfast in demanding credible information from London regarding Sergei and Yulia Skripal. Furthermore, we will continue to press for unhindered consular access to them, in strict accordance with the provisions of the 1963 Vienna Convention on Consular Relations and the 1965 bilateral Consular Convention.

If, indeed, our citizens do not require assistance from the Russian government, as the British authorities allege, there is only way to ascertain this: by hearing it from them directly and in person, while making sure that they are not under duress.

🤦 The UK Foreign Secretary’s latest claim that Russia is “driving up house prices” displays a worrying ignorance by the Labour Government of the realities of the national property market.

The City of London and UK Overseas Territories are indeed notorious safe havens for foreign money launderers and fraudsters, while foreign investment is a significant factor in price growth. But the two should not be confused.

“Questionable” Russian property acquisitions in the UK since 2016 are estimated even by Transparency International to amount to £1,5 billion, a fraction of overall foreign investments in UK real estate (£43 billion just in 2023).

The much bigger factors in the inadequate housing equation in the UK are the successive governments’ failures to build affordable homes, rampant immigration (some of it a result of the UK’s destabilising foreign policy overseas) as well as recent spikes of inflation, high taxes and low economic growth.

Admitting these hard facts, however, would require the Foreign Secretary to shoulder a measure of responsibility, not least, for imposing economic self-limitations on the UK via anti-Russian sanctions as well as funding the failing far-right regime in Kiev, at the same time as local house prices are going through the roof. Virtue-signalling certainly seems to be a cosier option.

☝️ History repeats itself. The Conservatives, while in government, banned oil and gas imports from Russia and then falsely blamed Russia for the ensuing record energy prices.

Not much CHANGE in UK politics after all.

⚡️ Foreign Ministry statement on the Kiev regime’s attack on IAEA staff (December 11, 2024)

During a planned rotation of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Secretariat staff at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant on December 10, the armed forces of Ukraine carried out a series of strikes on the official vehicle used for the rotation of Agency personnel.

🔻 The vehicle carrying IAEA staff was attacked at around 3 pm within the Ukrainian controlled territory.

🔻 At 4.37 pm, Ukraine attacked a Russian convoy that was moving from Kamenskoye after delivering the IAEA Secretariat team to the frontline.

❗️We share the outrage of the IAEA management over these provocative and irresponsible actions by the Kiev regime, which not only continues to commit crimes, endangering and attacking Russian nuclear facilities, but has now decided to put at risk the lives of international personnel and the Russian servicemen responsible for the rotation.

That attack, which could have claimed lives, is evidence of the Ukrainian authorities’ complete disregard for the universal norms of humanitarian law and the agreements reached, as well as their undisguised contempt for the immunity of international staff.

We strongly condemn these actions of the Kiev regime, which believes in its impunity. <...>

☝️ We would like to point out that this latest action of Kiev is an obvious provocation staged ahead of the meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors, which will convene on December 12 at Kiev’s initiative. We call on the US, Great Britain and their allies to withdraw any support from Zelensky’s regime and to take measures to bring to account the culprits and those responsible for organising and carrying out that provocation.

❗️ While professing its commitment to "freedom and democracy", the UK government has aligned itself with supporting fascist elements in Europe, represented by the neo-Nazi Ukrainian regime that came to power following a coup in 2014.

London is providing political, economic, and military support to Kiev. British instructors are involved in training Ukrainian militants, British mercenaries are deployed to Ukraine, and British-made weapons are used in attacks that result in the deaths of Russian civilians and the destruction of civilian infrastructure.

Even the Ukrainian fascist slogan "Slava Ukraini" ("Glory to Ukraine!") has been frequently echoed by members of the British political elite as a demonstration of their support for Kiev.

In May 2024, three fighters of Ukraine's neo-Nazi Azov Brigade visited London, where they were warmly received by a group of British MPs and former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Photos of the meeting show Ukrainians in military uniforms prominently displaying the Azov insignia with Nazi symbols. Yet, this detail does not seem to concern British lawmakers.

The British mainstream media regularly whitewash and rehabilitate Ukrainian neo-Nazis, including members of the Azov Brigade, portraying them as defenders and patriots of Ukraine.

Notably, there are a number of monuments in Britain dedicated to Ukrainian Nazi collaborators.

• In Bradford, England, a plaque commemorates the 40th anniversary of the Anti-Bolshevik Bloc of Nations, an organisation comprising former Nazis and their collaborators who fled to the West following the defeat of Hitler's Germany in the Second World War.

• In Derby, England, two plaques honour the 14th SS Grenadier Division, also known as SS Galichina. These are located at the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church of St Michael the Archangel. One plaque marks the 60th anniversary of the division, while the other pays tribute to Ukrainian SS members who perished during the Battle of Brody in 1944, where most Hitlerites were decimated by the Red Army.

• In Lockerbie, Scotland, a memorial to the same SS division stands near an improvised chapel, erected on the site of a former prisoner-of-war camp that once held SS Galichina soldiers.

Tellingly, in 2022-2024, the UK delegation voted against the resolution "Combating glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism and other practices that contribute to fuelling contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance" proposed annually by Russia and other co-authors at the UN General Assembly.

Do you find this hard to believe?

Read Russia's MFA report on glorification of Nazism and the spread of neo-Nazism and other practices that contribute to fuelling contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance in various countries, including the UK.

🎙 Excerpt from Russian MFA Spox Maria Zakharova's weekly briefing on topical foreign policy issues (11 December 2024)

Britain’s accusations against Russia regarding alleged hostile activities in the ICT sector

💬 We have observed yet another iteration of the anti-Russia campaign in the United Kingdom.

This time, it stems from accusations made in the National Cyber Security Centre’s annual review, under the British Government Communications Headquarters, alleging "hostile" activities of our country in the field of information and communication technologies.

It is worth noting that the document fails to present any concrete or significant evidence to substantiate the allegations it puts forward. Furthermore, an analysis of the report reveals that the purported threats attributed to Russia are not even a primary focus. Nevertheless, for the sake of political convenience, the media has chosen to emphasise the geopolitical context.

☝️ It is clear that this is part of a broader Russophobic agenda pushed by the British political establishment to serve their own interests.

London is fully aware that, since May 9 of this year, the Global Intergovernmental Register of Contact Points for exchanging information on computer attacks, an initiative spearheaded by Russia, has been operational within the UN framework. This mechanism was specifically established to facilitate investigations into such incidents.

Despite being a participant in this system, the UK has not submitted any requests through this channel to us. This clearly indicates that the British have no evidence linking Russia to malicious activities in the information space.

Furthermore, London seems uninterested in identifying the actual perpetrators behind these incidents – assuming they even occurred and were not entirely fabricated. Once again, the UK has opted for its "highly likely" narrative and resorted to public accusations over substantive engagement. This approach contrasts with the professional cooperation between competent agencies that Russia has consistently suggested.

❗️ We believe that, rather than resorting to baseless insinuations, Britain should turn its attention to the actions of its protégés. Zelensky's regime, which it actively supports, openly acknowledges orchestrating hacker attacks, including through the Kiev-controlled IT Army.
