🎙 Read excerpts from statement of Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the OSCE Alexander Volgarev «Report by the Special Representative of the Chairman-in-Office and Co-ordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings»(meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council, 14 October 2022)

🔹 Trafficking in human beings is a global problem, which poses a serious threat to all countries & therefore requires a complex approach to the solution

🔹 Human trafficking is a gross violation of human rights and is one of the main components of organized crime with a strong financial motivation

🔹 The main causes of trafficking in "live goods" are poverty and social exclusion, marginalization of some segments of the population, legalized sex industry, lack of support for mother- and childhood

🔹 Some #OSCE participating States, instead of solving long-standing and systemic problems "on the ground" in the field of human trafficking, are engaged in drafting propaganda reports that are politically motivated

🔹 It is important to pay due attention to a more covert, but no less dangerous form of THB: trafficking for the removal of human tissues, organs, and cells

🔹 We urge Office of the OSCE Special Representative and Co-ordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings not to go along with the Polish Chairmanship-in-Office, which is obsessed with the idea of total "Ukrainianization" of the #OSCE, and not to follow the guidelines of #ODIHR, which in favor of a small group of countries imposes concepts alien to the Organization

🔹 Торговля людьми имеет глобальный характер, несет серьезную угрозу всем странам и поэтому требует комплексного подхода к решению

🔹 Торговля людьми представляет собой грубейшее нарушение прав человека и является одной из основных составляющих организованной преступности с ярко выраженной финансовой подоплекой

🔹 Главными причинам попадания в руки торговцев «живым товаром»  являются бедность и социальная изоляция, маргинализация некоторых слоев населения, легализованная секс-индустрия, недостаточная поддержка материнства и детства

🔹 Некоторые государства-участники #ОБСЕ, вместо решения застарелых и системных проблемы «на земле» в сфере торговли людьми, занимаются составлением пропагандистских докладов, в которых просматривается политическая подоплека

🔹 Важно уделять должное внимание более скрытой, но от этого не менее опасной форме торговли людьми - трэфикинга для извлечения тканей, органов и клеток человека

🔹 Призываем Офис Спецпредставителя и координатора ОБСЕ по борьбе с торговлей людьми не идти на поводу у польского Действующего председательства, одержимого идеей тотальной «украинизации» работы #ОБСЕ, и не следовать установкам #БДИПЧ, которое в угоду узкой группе стран навязывает в Организации чуждые ей концепции

📊 As of October 14, 2022, 334 vessels delivered 7,448,204 metric tons of grain and other foodstuffs from Ukraine.

🔸 52,5% went to rich countries with developed economies.

🔸 22% went to developing countries with “above average” economies.

🇺🇳 2,5% was bought out by the UN World Food Programme for its for its operations in Afghanistan, Djibouti, Yemen, Somalia and Ethiopia.

❗️ Only 23% went directly to the countries with struggling economies, the actual “countries-in-need”.

🌾 Even though the Black Sea Grain Initiative undoubtedly contributes to addressing the global food crisis, it is far from being the “key” to “saving the poor countries from starvation”. Don’t let the Western propaganda fool you.

Главы внешнеполитических ведомств подвели итоги масштабных международных мероприятий в Астане с участием президентов России и Казахстана – Совета глав государств-участников #СНГ, саммита #СВМДА, первого саммита в формате «Россия-Центральная Азия». ⚡️ Young reporter of the "Tavria" TV Channel Vlada Lugovskaya was among the journalists filming the ferry crossing when the Ukrainian forces targeted civilians with HIMARS using M30A1 cluster munitions with tungsten balls, leaving 4 dead, 13 injured. 2 journalists were killed.

💬 Vlada Lugovskaya: I know for sure what I saw with my own eyes: there was no army personnel there. This was a column with civilians only – just people who wanted to leave the city and get to a safer place.

🛡 The introduction of martial law in four constituent entities of the Russian Federation formalizes the current de facto situation against the backdrop of hostilities against our country with the active involvement of the aggressive #NATO military bloc

🔴 What is happening in Ukraine is a tragedy fueled by the West. #NATO's maniacal desire to supply the #Kievregime with weapons and immediately dissuade it from a diplomatic settlement proves evidence of this. #Kievregime is being set to carry out attacks on Russian territory

‼️ Evidence that Ukraine commanders issued criminal orders to exterminate civilian population en masse did not receive condemnation either in the West or in the leadership of the #OSCE. We have no illusions with whom the struggle goes on. Russia's actions will be adequate and proportionate to emerging threats

📌 Some international officials do not value either their personal reputation or the authority of the structures they lead. Otherwise, it is impossible to explain their replication of fakes about "aimed shelling of residential areas by the Russian Armed Forces" or supplies of Viagra to Russian soldiers "for mass rapes"

☝️ For several #OSCE PC meetings in a row, US representatives cannot clearly explain to everyone what is the “rules-based order”, which they are promoting, and how it differs from the int'l order based on international law. We understand the difference: it's about the desire to impose hegemony over the world
