I have been thinking quite often about the state of our world and the availability of food. No doubt, you are here because of your own concerns.
Something I haven't really talked about is how this relates to the way we see our own bodies. Pretty much all of us have grown up in a world of ease and excess, where the problem was losing weight, not gaining it.
We are at the very edge of a financial disaster that's taking our food supply with it, and we have never lived in a time where this could happen.
I want you to take a moment and think about your current diet goals. Are you trying to lose weight? Are you restricting calories? Is your goal to eat less?
I am no nutritionist, and of course I don't know many of you personally. My thoughts are not explicit advice, but food for thought - and you can use it however you want as it applies to your own circumstances.
I think it would be a bad idea to restrict calories right before the availability of food is threatened. At least, in my case.
We have a lot of emotional tie-ups with how our bodies look, and even with everything going on we're probably still thinking we could lose a few so we can look better. But, I don't think we're entering a time where we can have such a luxury.
The fat on your body is there to protect you in times of less. One way I would describe it is as a root cellar, except you don't have to store any food and it's instantly available to your body.
It makes sense to me to utilize lower food prices while I can to stock food and also eat it when it's cheap and readily available.
I'm not saying to purposefully gain weight. Most of us are just carrying around a little extra puffiness, and I'm telling you, that fat will come in really handy if you can't eat as much in the future. How long a person is able to fast depends on how much energy they have stored - I've even heard of a case of an obese man fasting for over a month without his blood sugar dipping.
Your body's ability to handle stress also depends on how much energy it has available. If you go into it with washboard abs or a bikini body, you'll be wiped out insanely fast. Yes, it looks great and feels great and you get the social accolades for being beautiful, but this is the mentality of a society of excess - where not indulging is a virtue. Instead of eating fat, your body will start to eat muscle, making you vastly weak and adding to your level of stress, preventing you from doing what you need to do and making you sicker.
Don't worry so much about the little extra weight you have. Be thankful for it. If anything happened, it's your emergency reserve, and we are dealing with all kinds of emergencies these days.
I expect food shortages and price increases to start fully reflecting the situation this fall. Take advantage of what you have now; eat the fresh stuff, store anything else. You may find that you'll lose it without even trying later, or maybe not. It's not a big deal if you have to lose it later, but it is if you don't have any to spare.

We want to appeal to everyone in their own individual journey in a righteous way without comprising our values.
So, if you were to see something very obvious or have alternatives please share them in the comments without insulting as it might be a new idea/perspective to some and a way of inviting them to self-heal/self-learn.
Let's respect each other's individual journey here. Let's keep the EGOs at the door.
We are in this together.

The root word for heal is ‘wholeness’ or ‘to make whole’. The essence of dis-ease is disconnection from the self as a result of trauma/life experience. Gabor Mate who has spent years with terminally ill patients states that most if not all those with chronic illness have experienced some form of trauma as a child.

Home prices were $25k to $50k in the 80's the interest rate was 11% to 12% for a mortgage, recently rates were as low as 3.5% to 4.5%, same homes, with the same population or less people are worth $1 million+.
We wonder how that's possible unless its a Ponzi scam pretending to be a economic system.

Keep doing the individual work on yourself.
As you heal, the world heals.
As you are able to see the hooks they have you in, as you become aware of them and learn to detach and remove them from yourself, the more at peace you are and the less you react to those still swimming in the unawareness.
The less you react, the more you exude the vibration of peace and love, and the more people are curious to see what you’re about.
The more space and compassion you can hold for those who don’t agree with you, the more you help bring others to the truth as well, because we don’t bring people to truth by shaming them, we bring them to truth by leading as an example of what living in truth really means which is grace, peace, love and compassion, and absolute fearlessness, above all.
Keep honoring the truth.
Keep doing the work.
Stand firm. 🔥
