Juól is actually celebrated later on here in our pre-Christian North according to the Old Norse calendar. Juól has nothing to do with Christianity, but today we officially celebrate Yule/Christmas with family and kin - Home is in the North ❄️

Today it's full moon and Dísablót/Disting is taking place in Scandinavia (originally in Old Uppsala, Sweden). It's an ancient tradition and this years celebration is special because 2023 is a lunisolar leap year - meaning that it restores balance of time and season, to re-algin the calendar so that time and season repeat on schedule.
