Satellite images of the Arctic Ocean reveal a place where maps were glued together

The Arctic Ocean on Google maps usually looks like a blue canvas, carefully erased and painted with water marks. Upon closer inspection, there was a place where the cards had been glued together, a strip with pieces of unretouched photographs.

If you believe your eyes, it is not water that stretches all the way to the North Pole, but land with fragments of greenery and islands in the ocean covered with ice.
