Arrogance leads people to sickness of mind and incorrect behavior. People who live in a state of pride and deception inhabit a dark internal world.

A pitch black world full of a sincere dread of losing, making a mistake, being disgraced or humiliated, stress, doubt, hatred, anger and passion...This state of mind wears people down and ages them; it has a severe impact on their psychological and physical well-being.

These people, who are spiritually weaker than others, are cold. It is barely possible to expect a pleasant gesture, a sign of love or appreciation, or an encouraging word from them. It is hard to laugh or enjoy oneself in their presence. Sudden outbursts are common wherever such people are present.

Arrogant people’s behavior is always intended to make them appear more valuable and superior in the eyes of other people.

For this reason, they have an excessive fear of making mistakes. They seek to ingratiate themselves with others for which reason they keep every moment under control and are careful to behave in a determined manner at all times.

Whenever they attend a meeting they try to be the most impressive speakers, the best dressed, to come up with the most intelligent solutions, and to draw the most attention to themselves. They are therefore constantly “on tenterhooks.” Their behavior is never sincere and genuine. They always dread the prospect of behaving incorrectly. They think they will never make a mistake. When told that they have made an error, they immediately try to absolve themselves of any blame.

Being subject to criticism is something an arrogant person dislikes immensely. When criticized, their facial muscles tense up, and their expression dulls.

They are dismayed by concern about damage to their prestige. They assume that, if they are criticized, they will be ridiculed or humiliated by others. Their gestures are no longer natural, and sudden rises and falls can be heard in their tone of voice. They therefore live in a constant state of discomfort. Ultimately, they never find peace and contentment. Arrogant people engage in exaggerated and attention-seeking

By overestimating this attribute in their own eyes they belittle and disparage those around them. As a result of this behavior, their associates find them unattractive and repellent. That means that arrogant people never have true, honest friends who feel a genuine affection for them. They also find it difficult to demonstrate affection for others.

They always want to be the object of love and affection, because in their own eyes they are superior to everybody else. This state of mind leads to another behavior defect: envy. They envy the beauty, intelligence, reason, moral values or worldly goods of others.

They regard everything those people possess with a jealous eye. If someone with superior features to their own is present, they immediately want to leave. Their envy means they are invariably unable to get along with others.

👉 About Shaykh ʿAbdullāh ibn Ṣāliḥ al-ʿUjayrī:

Born in 1976, ʿAbdullāh ibn Ṣāliḥ al-ʿUjayrī is a leading Islamic scholar, academic, researcher, and engineer based in Saudi Arabia. He developed a love for reading at a very young age, and Glimpses from the Lives of the Companions (Ṣuwar min Ḥayāh al-Ṣaḥābah) by Abd al-Raḥmān Ra’fat Bāshā had the most profound effect on him. Shaykh al-ʿUjayrī went on to further study the lives of the Companions and Islamic history in general. He also had the opportunity to sit in the lectures of various scholars and benefit from their knowledge.

Shaykh al-ʿUjayrī graduated with a bachelor’s degree (BA) in Principles of the Religion, and a master’s degree (MA) in Islamic studies. He is currently completing his PhD at SOAS, University of London. Shaykh al-ʿUjayrī also obtained a BA in Computer Engineering.

A leading intellectual in the Arabic speaking world, he has authored a number of excellent works, especially on Islamic thought and theology. His more renowned works focus on Islamic theism, atheism, and understanding contemporary events in light of Islamic eschatological texts. The Incoherence of Atheism (Shumūʿ al-Nahār; lit. Candles in the Day) is one of his best works that has been translated into English by Wordsmiths and published by Sapience Institute. He has also translated John Hersey’s Hiroshima into Arabic.   

I really enjoy the theories that speak to the individual bubble that is floating across a seat of other bubbles. Your fragment of reality and how it rubs against all the other fragments around you.

Consciousness is the center of the universe really for any individual. Your mind behind your eyes now, that commands your body to use your hands in creation of conversation. That's as much as you can truly, intimately, confirm is at least 99.99% real to your experience in this reality.

Everything else, becomes perception and education/experience/wisdom/etc..

You see this in the manufactured disclosure on the radical left... "my truth." As I said earlier today, truth is an individual perception on the reality we are in. It has been twisted, and been subject to "legalization" which strips the individuality out of reality. Legalize binds to a set of rules, interpretations and acceptances, just as our languages do. I think this is why meme's are so popular, they don't need a tonne of words to deliver their impact. It's like how generations before left pictures for us, and great texts did survive but were often guarded by those in possession.

So we see ourselves in a very well composed realm, for only the chaos of man disrupts the order of this place. We see the nature of our reality questioned, with tales of great prosperity long behind us, and coming for "some" of us soon. This is a lot of planning and guiding, to bring humanity here, given what was before, what is now, and what is suggested for our future.

All of it coming across as outside force, pushing in, and driving us around for its desires.

How do we 100 monkey people just taking charge of their lives, and shifting from the expected to what they, their family, and the community needs. How to have a tribe, and be surrounded by the trustworthy. Where it is not what can I do better than you, to earn more coin and rise above.

How do we all do better, and all move into a better world?

How do we arrange our bubbles of reality in a position formation, to go from the depression of a sinking field, into the spear tip of a effort to achieve more harmony. So that we are not a cup of sorrows but instead as in nature, rising to the above.
