Barak responds that he didn't misspeak. Amanpour replies: "Okay. That's sort of thrown me a little bit."

I don't see it happening, to be honest. Too much antimuslim sentiment already and it's growing because of all the protests over Gaza and the even more overt preferential treatment shown towards them and the polar opposite being shown towards the native population. There's only so long you can do that for, before even a dead, formerly blind hippo, facing in the opposite direction, starts to notice that something is possibly amiss and even they start to resent the Muslim population.
You know, from roughly around the mid 1880's, right up to the start of WW2, a similar situation was happening Europe-wide back then. A target population was being fed a narrative, that bred a supremacist mindset and likewise, the native populations were being fed one that fomented intense resentment against that population.
Then the System just waited for which nation popped off first and it turned out to be Germany.
Back then there was no social media and a huge lack of understanding, within the general public, as to how we could be manipulated in that way?
It was also a painfully slow process as a result, so even if we were aware, it would've been far harder to spot.
These days, we actually have social media and so the process is sped up exponentially and the people now in charge of the game board, are pretty inept in comparison to their forebears and so the moves being made are often so blatant and obvious, you'd expect a child to look at you with that,
'you must think me an idiot'
look upon their face, when you produce a coin from behind their ear.
And yet, somehow, we're still seemingly at that same level of awareness?
Yes, history often repeats...
It may also rhyme...
But sometimes...
Sometimes...
