In fact it did not, and reinforced through a change of name CIS Commonwealth of Independent States. It actually drives what they say to be the Second October Revolution, supposed to bring the constitution of a New Social World Order as Lenin described it in 1920.

JUST IN - Ray Epps was sentenced to one year of probation; no jail time for his role in the Capitol riot.
