🇫🇷 The French establishment is going coo-coo.

Ex-Prime Minister Manuel Valls (the last Prime Minister under President Francois Hollande), said that the the country's leadership must prepare the people of France for sending troops to Ukraine and get them to accept it no matter their opposition or fear. He hit all the right Washington/Brussels talking points.

➡️ We cannot accept a victory of Vladimir Putin in Ukraine as that would be the end of Ukrainian democracy

➡️ The destiny of France, of the French people, of Europe itself, runs through Kiev

➡️ The defeat of Ukraine would be the complete defeat - military, political, economic, cultural, moral of the entire West.

➡️ The defeat of Ukraine would give the signal to China to attack and overrun Taiwan.

ℹ️ Valls left office with an approval rating below 10%. He also tried to sneak into Spanish politics after his defeat in French politics.


🐻 76% of French people per the survey behind Valls' head say they are against sending troops to Ukraine 23% in favor. Note, that part of the reason Macron is in office is to stop Le Pen getting into office. Macron's attempts to get France into a shooting war that can very easily go nuclear and end life as we know it on the planet are guaranteed to increase support for Le Pen. People typically don't like voting for people promising to take them to nuclear war. The French political elite looks increasingly deluded and utterly detached from their own voters.
