Doha-Nizar Baraka, Minister of Equipment and Water, has this week confirmed that Morocco has conducted 70 cloud seeding operations in 2024, allegedly "as part of its efforts to combat the drought crisis".
Morocco has carried out a total of 140 artificial rain operations since 2021, including 52 aerial operations and 88 ground-based operations.
But wait... the Minister wishes to assure everybody that the geo-engineering has nothing whatsoever to do with the recent floods in the country.
Furthermore, it is probably just a huge coincidence that Morrocco is across the Strait Of Gibraltar from Spain...
