Marriage is the sacred covenant decreed by natural law through which man and woman unite to produce progeny and ensure the existence of the race.
It long predates the sects of abrahamism of which the followers suffer from the conceited delusion that anything just and morally upright came to be with its (abrahamism) advent, and that anything before it was depraved and impure.
Germanic and Hellenic pagans were honorable, family-oriented folk, who respected their ancestral gods and lived in accordance to natural order:
