The locations that the 12 tribes of Israel scattered to

The one that's left, Levi, was the one tribes in the middle, that were the judges who solved the disputes between the 12 camps. They had their compound at the centre of the camp, with the other 11 tribes creating, strangely enough, the shape of a cross around the Levite compound.(As per the 'Book of Numbers' - Old Testament)
The Levite tribes were the only tribe without a direct genecological link to it's founder and namesake, as it consisted of 2 tribesmen from each tribes and then Levi and his wife (I want to say, Rachel, but i might be wrong) to settle any tied judgements. (Book of Judges - Old Testament).
So there you go. That's how the Israelite tribes became the nations of the (then known) world.
