It was FromSoftware’s first video game, released exclusively in Japan for the PlayStation on December 16, 1994.
It is one of the earliest known 3D console RPGs, predating noscripts like Final Fantasy VII, and laid the groundwork for future FromSoftware series including Shadow Tower and Dark Souls
