Several thousand anti-fascists fought against water cannons and militarised police yesterday in defence of Lina E, a 26 year old student who is in custody accused of two attack upon neo-nazis.

The International Violent Hate Crimes Research Project documented enough violent attacks by neo-nazis and the far right in Leipzig in 2020 to mark it as one of worst cities the world for right wing extremist violence.

Instead of confront this of course, the police launch raids on the homes of those they suspect of being anti-fascist organisers.
