We discussed the need for housing to match demand and funds for critical infrastructure projects in Central Illinois, particularly the Uptown Connector/Pedestrian Underpass project.

Despite “assurances” from Trump admin that programs, such as Medicaid, are not impacted by today’s federal funding freeze, states report being locked out of payment systems for... you guessed it: Medicaid!

President Trump’s firing of these nonpartisan watchdogs is illegal and must be reversed.
 
The law requires that Congress must receive a detailed written rationale from the President for the firings.
