The channel has some of the best ports for line stickers on telegram, using proper scaling algorithms for the best result on here. Not many people know this but Line stickers are smaller than telegram stickers, and to get them to fit as a telegram sticker they need to be upscaled.

The upscaling done by @line_stickers uses a smart algorithm to avoid blurryness around where colours meet, and at edges.

Line stickers also does translations of some packs they feel passionate about, so a big thank you to the team over there for all the work they do.

For those of you that also use THE VASTLY INFERIOR messaging application Whatsapp
I have started the process of porting my stickers over to that platform as well.

I am only really doing this to avoid anyone putting my files on there before myself, and to add advertising to Telegram on there, as people should really stop using whatsapp.

For the application to work, you might need to be subscribed to the whatsapp Beta, unless normal Whatsapp has already implemented stickers. For a note, the "add to whatsapp" button will do nothing if your whatsapp does not support adding stickers yet.

<Rant>Now for some extra ranting from my side regarding this
Whatsapp's sticker implementation is one of the worst I have seen. First they need you to create an application, Then they need you to pay 25 dollars to put it on their store. There is no interface to easily upload files, and each file HAS to be 512 x 512, and not just 512px
Each image needs to be preconverted to webp, and has to be smaller than 100kb (The size constraints are not too bad, as webp isn't a bad image format.)
Stickerpacks are only allowed to have 30 stickers each, and emoji is not supported (yet), however you can assign emoji to the stickers, however you need to do this in a json file (windows at least helped with the addition of 'windows key' + ';' opening an emoji menu).
You're not allowed to add more than 10 sticker packs per app, and you're not allowed to create an "Add all stickers to whatsapp" button.
This one was probably my fault, but I also had to spend my entire saturday trying to debug the application whatsapp's github provided, because there is 0 mention that you had to use whatsapp beta for their code to function properly.

Suffice to say, these limitations made my life hell trying to get just 30 files moved over to whatsapp.
I am hoping to do more over this weekend, so that 90 from each of my popular packs are usable over there. It's slow because all my stickers need to be recreated, and reformated to whatsapp's size constraints, and format. As well as re-adding all those Emoji's.</Rant>

I should also note the following
I don't own apple devices, so I cannot compile the application for the istore, and even if I could, I cannot afford paying 100 USD just to put stickers on their platform.
(I cannot afford the apple infrastructure)

In other news, no new updates to the whatsapp packs just yet, I am having the admin at @line_stickers assist me with making a tool to auto convert all the files to webp, with the correct alignment, so that it's a bit less work.

But don't look forward to it, you're already on the better messaging application, so just use the stickers available on here instead ;)

I have been pretty pre-occupied with work and just life in general

However good news
The owner at @line_stickers has provided me with the noscript to do some mass conversion
All the files I will be porting to whatsapp are converted right now, I just need to finish the json file and compile the application for android

This is still not too fast, but it's much faster than having to resize each one of my existing stickers at least.

Jashin pack has 20 files left, when those are done, expect a short break from sticker content.
I might post gifs / art if I get to making those again if I feel like it after the Jashin pack.

I am aware of some users experiencing bugs
I will only be able to correct those next week

Firstly, sorry to all the telegram users here that need to hear my whining about whatsapp problems, we're almost at the end of the road

I have noticed how one of the bugs on whatsapp works

If you have a "recent sticker" from the pack before the update, and you try to post from there, instead of posting directly from the pack, it's possible for you to get some problems, like it not sending, or someone not receiving them.

This is because of whatsapps bad approach to stickers, and now that the file is not accessible anymore, it has no way of posting it. So whatsapp recent stickers should be removing the sticker, but it isn't which is bad.

So please, when using those stickers, do not use it from "recent" stickers, open the pack and find it from there.
