No sticker updates this week it seems
I have been pretty pre-occupied with work and just life in general

However good news
The owner at @line_stickers has provided me with the noscript to do some mass conversion
All the files I will be porting to whatsapp are converted right now, I just need to finish the json file and compile the application for android

This is still not too fast, but it's much faster than having to resize each one of my existing stickers at least.

Jashin pack has 20 files left, when those are done, expect a short break from sticker content.
I might post gifs / art if I get to making those again if I feel like it after the Jashin pack.

I am aware of some users experiencing bugs
I will only be able to correct those next week

I have pushed a bug fix release for the whatsapp stickers, but it requires everyone to use the new version to work correctly.

Firstly, sorry to all the telegram users here that need to hear my whining about whatsapp problems, we're almost at the end of the road

I have noticed how one of the bugs on whatsapp works

If you have a "recent sticker" from the pack before the update, and you try to post from there, instead of posting directly from the pack, it's possible for you to get some problems, like it not sending, or someone not receiving them.

This is because of whatsapps bad approach to stickers, and now that the file is not accessible anymore, it has no way of posting it. So whatsapp recent stickers should be removing the sticker, but it isn't which is bad.

So please, when using those stickers, do not use it from "recent" stickers, open the pack and find it from there.

But whatsapp stickers should now almost definitely not be bugged anymore

I tested each of them properly before roll out this time, I could send and receive all the files, and that one culprit is no longer giving issues.

Honestly, I have 0 idea what was wrong with it. I made the filesize a tiny bit smaller to just have it be "different" and it worked. Honestly, I don't even know how something could be so badly implemented.

Unless something goes wrong again, I won't really be updating about it again here, until I add another show to it, or maybe after I finish the first rollout. completely.

Also glad I could show some of the people that joined here already just how much of a better messaging application telegram is. It seriously makes me happy when people drop whatsapp for Telegram, which is probably the primary reason I am going through all this effort.

Second reason being I don't really want people to just take my files and do what they want with them, also violating the licensing.

Any complaints if I remove the Takiya stickers from the Dragon Maid pack, and make them freely available in png format to replace them with some better stickers? (Well better in my opinion at least, but I like to think I have good standards ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°))

It's worth noting this vote is leaning in favour of keeping Takiya
I will only remove the files when new ones are available, and if the vote is 75%+ for removing it after 1 day

If everyone is in favour of keeping him, I will use sticker usage statistics to identify the stickers that will least be missed and try to put something in their place.

Oh, something I also wanted to say, I will be going through the dragon maid pack this weekend, and trying to fix all the artifacts I have encountered on existing files, if you have not seen them yet, then don't worry about it, this will impact you in 0 way, however it's something that bothers me a lot.

When I started making stickers originally I jumped between many different tools to try and make stickers properly, I ended up on photoshop in the end because it just worked the best, even with some of its flaws. The files made on older applications I found some problems with and I wish to correct them, or I won't sleep well at night

If you're using the whatsapp version, Sorry to say but I am not updating those. Those will stick to the bad versions, not because I want your experience to be worse, but it will cause bugs on whatsapp if I replaced the file from the original pack, and you tried to send it from your recent stickers. It tries to query the app you have installed for the file, and if the file is no longer there, it just shoots blanks.

🚨 APPLE IS DELETING ALL WHATSAPP STICKERS APPS FROM THE APP STORE!

Apple is reporting that all WhatsApp Stickers are violating their guidelines. The main reasons:
1) There are too much apps with similar behavior.
2) It requires WA to be installed. Apps should not require another apps.
3) The design of these apps is the same.

They don’t want a lot of apps doing the same thing, so they won’t approve other submissions and updates. They are already deleting any stickers app from the App Store.
