Daily Dad Update. One last night in rehab. 14 hrs until he’s finally home. Dad passed the swallowing test so he can finally drink thin liquids. The 3 hour therapies were very informative. All therapies are extremely pleased with dad’s progress. He walked up and down 13 steps w minimal assistance. He becomes winded, but that’s to be expected right now. His vital signs after the steps were great. O2 Sat was 98, BP117/78, heart rate 89. The peg tube will be removed in a month. It gets flushed twice a day w 100 cc of water. I’m signing off on the updates. I hope the information was helpful all these days and weeks. Love and prayers. Always remember to Pray 🙏🏻
