I can’t express how much I despise geese. The only time I’ve ever written my congressman, I told him he could become a hero to both parties if he could get the geese taken off this ridiculous migratory waterfowl act protection that they’ve had for over 100 years for no reason whatsoever. They’re not endangered at all, but in 1914 or something apparently they were so the migratory waterfowl act was passed and no one has ever reviewed it since. they don’t even migrate anymore, they’re considered “resident migratory waterfowl” and they’re in every state from Washington to Florida they eat 3 to 4 pounds of grass per day and shit 2 to 3 pounds they have no predators anywhere so literally they just convert grass into shit, there are billions of them and we’re not allowed to kill them because no one has ever bothered to follow up on this stupid fucking law from 100 years ago.

Everyone in the United States needs to the rise up tomorrow and kill a goose, for the good of the planet
