My film professor in College didnt know who Stanley Kubrik was. I was giving an analysis on A Clockwork Orange when he stopped me and told me to stop messing around. I was confused and asked him to elaborate. He says he doesnt want to hear nonsense and that I wasnt being funny. I again asked for clarification and that's when he told me Stanley didnt direct A Clockwork Orange. I couldnt believe it so I tried to take my phone out to look it up and he told me if I did I would immediately fail the class and that I shouldnt be so defensive. He said I was a child for trying to make up some lie. I asked what about 2001: A Space Odyssey and he told me it was made by Warhol??
Other students tried to speak up but he shut them down too. It was ridiculous and I am still annoyed to this day
