Alec Baldwin ‘Rust’ shooting investigation moves forward as FBI completes forensic reports
Nearly 10 months since the fatal "Rust" shooting, which resulted in cinematographer Halyna Hutchins' death, the Santa Fe Sheriff's Office has received the full forensic report from the FBI.
They were then forwarded to the New Mexico Office of the Medical Investigator (OMI) "for review."
Detectives with the homicide and computer crimes unit at the Suffolk County Police Department in New York are still actively assisting the Santa Fe Sheriffs' office in obtaining and processing Alec Baldwin’s phone records.
Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza: "Once Suffolk County PD completes its agency assist and sends those records to New Mexico law enforcement, our detectives will need to then thoroughly review those phone records for evidentiary purposes."

A Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) special agent who signed one of the property receipts during the Mar-a-Lago raid appears in a January 6 court filing.
The receipt was signed by FBI Special Agent Jeremy Linton.
Linton apparently authored an affidavit supporting the criminal complaint and arrest warrant for Tommy Frederick Allan, of Rocklin, California, regarding his alleged involvement in the January 6 'riot'.

We’re going to need to see everything.
If an FBI action is going to be so inflammatory that the attorney general of the United States can’t maintain a judicious silence about the matter more than a couple of days before publicly jousting with the target, it’s a pretty good indication it shouldn’t have been taken to begin with.
Is it possible to believe — indeed, consistent with recent experience — that the Department of Justice and FBI worked themselves into tizzy over a relatively minor matters, or let themselves become tools in a political agenda they should have resisted?
