For OMEN 5 users,
I recommend using Performance Mode.
Not only it's quieter but also it can provide your CPU a stronger power.
(In both Default and Comfort mode, the PL1 is 45W while in Performance mode, the PL1 is 55W)

Although I really don't know why the Comfort mode is the noisiest mode.

The Chinese version of this program describes the Comfort mode as 酷冷模式

I think we should call it Colling mode.
