What about the Pen? It costs 349CNY Not cheap (compare to Huawei M-Pen) but also not expensive (compare to Apple Pencil) According to the official webpage, it can connect automatically when you attach it to the Pad But when I test it, it needs to pair manually…
My advice:
If you consider buying a tablet under 3000CNY
I think you can take a look at Mi Pad 5 Pro
If your budget is more tight, Mi Pad 5 is OK
Although Mi Pad 5 is lacking in many aspects than Mi Pad 5 Pro
(Like the display/speaker/SoC/WiFi/RAM speed/camera and other hidden things)
It still provides the most basic functions
I mean, the Mi Pen and the 120Hz refresh rate.
If you want a better software experience (flashing third-party ROM or root or Jailbreaking is not included), the iPad 2020 (or maybe iPad 2021 later in September) is better choice.
If Xiaomi can keep on optimizing the MIUI for Pad that Mi Pad 5 series might be the best choice at this price.
