Dutchsinse, one of the fine YouTube creators I follow and one of the few sources of independent weather, has been documenting what appears to be a space based directed energy weapon of immense power starting fires in California and Oregon. It's hard to see because of the YouTube compression but the linked logs are visible on my desktop monitor last I checked, so enhanced videos are to follow.

Update: still broken. The cable that came out of its joint was three inches wide and about sixty pounds per yard, and two football fields came crashing down, slapping the Gregorian dome (second picture) as it whipped past. This is month two without a decent near earth object detecting radar.
