Here is a curious fact:
The reaction center that is responsable for carrying oxygen in our blood is produced from the same molecule that is used to produce the reaction center that produces oxygen from water and light on the Chlorophyll molecule.

Did you know that bees sleep between 5-8 hours a day, sometimes in flowers? Also, they like to sleep with other bees and hold each other’s feet.

On 29 June, the unit 6 of the Yangjiang nuclear power plant in China was connected to the electrical grid. It's 1000MW of electric power will join the other 5 units to produce around 48TWh per year.

Enough power to supply several millions people while avoiding the production of 38.78 million tonnes ofCO2 emissions.

Today, September 23th, is the second Equinox of the Year. When the duration of the day and night are roughly the same, with the sun right over Earth's equator.

For those that live in the Southern Hemisphere, it's the Spring Equinox, for those that live in the North, it's the Fall Equinox.

Fires are also burning on the tropical forests in Indonesia. The VIIRS instrument on the Suomi spacecraft shows a high amount of smoke at that location combined with a partial cloud cover today.
