This GEN chat room is here as a gift for all interested to provide a public Telegram group to discuss anything related to ecovillages or other sustainability and regenerative focused efforts. So no particular goal apart from that. Just allowing this to develop organically.

Previously on 2020 the GEN online summit was a good conversation starter and everyone is welcome to join and discuss it or other related topics here.

Following basic netiquette of civil discussions and common sense is hoped for of course!

As a disclaimer this is also unofficial and not (yet) connected to any official GEN representatives.

I am connected with my local GEN-Finland organization though which is a member of GEN Europe.

There is also a local chat for GEN-Finland - SKEY - Suomen kestävän elämäntavan yhteisöt ry.

Feel free to invite more people into here from your circles. Especially those who might be interested or enthusiastic about more wholesomely ecologically sustainable, regenerative and thriving lifestyles.

Also if you want to facilitate some specific discussion topic, invite some guests for a chat meeting here or some other related idea you'd like to see happen feel very welcome to use this platform for such!

Again in other words if someone is wondering what this is about... This chat is what you, me and we all together make it to be about. Like any chat or group. All are welcome to contribute. Global... Ecovillage... Network. There's the organization called that and all the local GEN branches in different continents and countries. So that's a connecting organizatory aspect here. Yet even the name itself could be seen as inviting all ecovillage enthusiasts to network globally even if there was no official organization.
