Capybaras have mutualistic relationships with a number of bird species which remove ticks from their bodies such as jacanas, anis, egrets, cowbirds, etc. Here we see a black vulture removing ticks from a cooperative capybara which reacts slightly as each tick is pulled off.

And now: more plants updates.
This is a hop cutting that I recieved in the most amazing way: I was visiting a micro-brewery called la Périgrine to buy some of their beers and they were so cool that we just started chatting about brewing and fermentation. In the end, I asked them how they got their hop plants and they just ended up giving me some cuttings. People are amazing sometime ❤️
